A stunning end terrace cottage which has been extended, modernised, furnished and equipped to an excellent standard by the owners. 3 Barf Cottages is situated along a small, no thoroughfare lane, in the village of Portinscale. There are several cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and two marinas in this popular lakeside village, which is accessible via a footpath from Keswick, where you will find a wealth of amenities. Much effort and attention to detail has been afforded by the owners to create a cottage oozing with quality and great facilities. There is a fabulous garden room which doubles as the dining room, overlooking the garden to the fells beyond, bathroom and shower room, excellent kitchen, wood burner, wooden floors, parking and Wi-Fi.

Great cottage with all amenities you need and a huge variety of birds in the garden including Pheasant . Great location for lots of lovely walks. VERY local pub with great food. Close to Keswick, v short drive or a walk. Would definitely recommend.

Loved staying there.The back conservatory style room is great for sitting in as it is so light.Internet was great.Had everything we needed.Only disappointment is some traffic noise from the A66 which is close by and the reviews I had read never mentioned it.
