Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise Anne's Cottage for its superb location, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-equipped and maintained, with a lovely garden and easy access to Keswick and nearby walks. The thoughtful touches, such as a well-stocked kitchen and a welcoming atmosphere, contribute to a delightful stay, although some minor maintenance issues and the combination oven's complexity were noted.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews frequently commend the cottage's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'very clean' and 'well maintained'. One mention of cups needing a wash suggests a slight oversight, but overall, the high standard of cleanliness is evident.

The location is highly praised for being perfect, quiet, and picturesque, with easy access to the town and fells. The proximity to parks and the town centre is a recurring positive theme in the reviews.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. However, some guests felt that space might be tight for four people, and garden furniture could be more comfortable.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good amenities. Some guests struggled with the combination oven/microwave, and minor suggestions for additional items like oven gloves and pegs were made.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as a well-stocked kitchen, games, and a bottle of wine. While these gestures enhance the experience, it's important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

It’s a fantastic location, very close to town but nice and quiet at the back of the park. We very much enjoyed being able to refill the bird feeder from the bird food left in the kitchen, such a variety of birds. We found the cottage very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. We would love to stay again.

Nicely laid out cottage & warm cottage to. With the owners very responsive to matters raised.

The location is perfect for easy access to town or to the fells, and the cottage is clean, cosy and well-equipped. The only negative is that, due to significant price increases, we can't afford to return for a fourth year and will be staying elsewhere instead for our next break in the Lakes. It's a real shame as we have loved our holidays in Anne's Cottage and the children have many happy memories of their time there.
