We had a lovely week at Windhover. However I have given 4 stars because:The living area was tiny, much smaller than the pictures led us to believe. With two adults it's OK, but with 4, very cramped. On the plus side, the bedrooms were a good size and there was a bonus downstairs loo which we didn't expect. There was virtually no work space in the kitchen and the equipment was of the bare minimum. ( very few pans, no large serving or cooking dishes, blunt knives) For someone who likes to cook it was quite frustrating. The owner was friendly and welcoming. There were just the two of us but when I told him we had some friends joining us for a couple of nights he asked for extra money -£10 per night. We paid, but I'm not sure if he should have done this as we rented a 4 bed cottage.

Lovely space to relax. Pub was in walking distance if you are healthy. A good place to explore Hereford and Hay on Wye. If you want to do a steam railway journey you will need to book before you go.
