Well where do you want me to start …..If you like a very soft marshmallow like mattress then this is for you Also the beds are double and not king size as stated in the description!Sofas were well worn and not comfortable The cottage didn’t match the description The mattresses were terrible The flat and lumpy pillows were a disgrace One of the quilts has tears to it and human hairs The lamp in living room was on the wonk and broken - maybe this was a feature? It was a work of art trying to get hot water in the morning Ok if you want a shower at night but if you want one in the morning forget it !It is very difficult to squeeze your tea bags in your tea without bending the spoon - which is NOT acceptable for a luxury cottage The garden is not fully enclosed therefore with having a lake at the bottom - which is not ideal for dogs that like to swim The property could do with a deep clean and the light fittings are furry Take your Amazon fire stick with you if you want to watch netflicks as there is not a smart TV available and there is only an old selection of DVDs and it was not a 50imch tv as stated in the description l, propped up with old DVDs There was holes in the curtains There was an insect infestation with lady bugs everything The hot tub was a bit dated and not terribly hot with serious lack of bubbles The furniture does not match the photos - the photos are out dated - it would be nice if they had up to date photographs We have stayed at n a lot of Hoseasons accommodation through the years and this has been our biggest disappointment Oh and the microwave wasn’t the cleanest inside !!!!

The house is stunning the enclosed. Garden is huge and well kept however it is a shame the pond at the bottom is all open if your dogs like to swim it’s worth being mindful of I’m lucky my 2 hate the water. It does state the lodge is pet friendly however after communication with the owners the dogs are only allowed in the main living area not upstairs or on any furniture so if you have dogs who like to sleep on bed with you this place is not for you.would I return?no I probably wouldn’t personally I just felt it wasn’t fair on my dogs to be confined to the main living area
