With the cottage set on the banks for the River Bain, you have instant access to fishing, so why not bring your tackle for a day down by the river? Dovedale Cottage is ideal for family celebrations with the hot tub, games room in the adjacent garage and gym equipment for work out enthusiasts. There is a large kitchen/dining room which is a fantastic area in which to socialise and entertain. Upstairs are four large bedrooms, all stylishly furnished and fitted with fresh cotton linen, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep, as well as two bathrooms. In addition, the master bedroom has en-suite facilities. On the ground floor there is a shower room so there will be no waiting around to get ready for the next day’s adventures.
Fancy a walk? Whether long or short, there is a variety of delightful country walks straight from the doorstep. The nearby villages benefit from several lovely pubs serving good old pub food and a variety of local ales. Not forgetting the wonderful Lincolnshire Wolds which is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, home to Cadwell Park Race Circuit and is within easy reach with its beautiful scenic walks and bike trails. Tattershall Lakes are 2 miles away from the property, where you can enjoy water sports, jet skis, fishing and much more during your stay.
Lincoln is nearby, famous for its cathedral, castle, the Magna Carta Centre and the International Bomber Command Centre, and is just 35 minutes away in the car. There’s the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitors Centre just around the corner, and the traditional seaside town of Skegness is less than 40 minutes away so bring your bucket and spade for a day on the beach. One of Lincolnshire’s most attractive villages, Woodhall Spa, is only 4 miles away, full of many fine restaurants, home to the National Golf Centre, the last remaining rear projection cinema in the country, an open-air swimming pool, and of course its association with the Dambusters 617 Squadron. We had a fantastic time at the cottage and would highly recommended. We had a few little things that went wrong or wouldn’t work but the owner was responsive and sorted things very quickly. Lovely location.

The house is in a lovely setting and it is a beautiful house. There were many rooms and the small snooker table is an excellent addition. The conservatory is a lovely room to look out onto the garden with the stream at the bottom. My only concern was the lack of door on the ensuite bathroom! Overall, a great space to spend time catching up with family.

Lovely property and well situated. Close to Coningsby air base with shops and takeaways within walking distance. The property itself backs onto a lovely river which can be fished and also provision for a fire which we loved.
