Guests say

Cowslip Cottage offers a peaceful and relaxing countryside retreat, with guests consistently praising the welcoming hosts, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. The cottage is described as comfortable and beautifully decorated, set in tranquil surroundings with wildlife and easy access to local market towns. While most guests found the beds and furnishings comfortable, a few mentioned the bed was hard or the sofa too soft. Some appreciated thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack, though these are not always provided. Overall, the property is highly recommended for a restful break in Lincolnshire.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean and well maintained, with only one mention of bedding being clean but old. The overall impression is of a spotless property.

Guests appreciate the quiet, rural setting and proximity to market towns and attractions. Some note it is a little remote from amenities, but this is generally seen as a positive for those seeking relaxation.

Most guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, with restful sleep reported. However, a few mentioned the bed being hard or the sofa difficult for those with mobility issues.

The cottage is frequently described as well-equipped, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Issues such as hot water were resolved quickly by the hosts.

Several guests mention a warm welcome and, in some cases, a welcome pack or local produce. However, as not all guests received these, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

We have just returned from a stay in "Cowslip Cottage" at Wildmore farm cottages. What can I say, we had no idea what to expect, Idyllic, so peaceful, hosts are excellent. We have had a really relaxing break, the accommodation has everything you require, a fascinating array of literature. In fact my wife had to buy me a book before we left, because I hadn't finished reading the copy in the cottage. We didn't get to see everything we wanted to, so are already planning a return. If you want peace and quiet and a relaxing break book it, I'd be very surprised if anyone were disappointed.

Good for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle. A well-equipped cottage that provided a good base for a bus trip to Lincoln, visiting bird reserves and the viewing area for RAF Conningsby.
