Guests have enjoyed its cleanliness, comfort, and the idyllic setting, making it a perfect retreat for peace and quiet. The hosts, David and Sally, are praised for their hospitality, and the cottage is well-equipped for a cosy stay.

The cottage received high praise for its cleanliness, with guests noting it was very clean upon arrival.

The location is ideal for exploring the Peaks, with guests appreciating the rural setting. However, it is noted that a car is necessary to access nearby places.

The cottage is described as comfy and well-equipped, suggesting a high level of comfort. A suggestion for a thinner duvet due to the warmth provided by underfloor heating indicates overall satisfaction with the comfort level.

Facilities are generally good, but there are suggestions for minor improvements such as additional storage for clothing, a freezer compartment, and more coat hangers.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches from the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

Absolutely as advertised. Location is ideal for exploring all elements of the Peaks and cottage is the perfect place to snuggle up after a day of exploring. There is everything you could possibly need provided and it is a wonderful escape from ‘normal’ life. The cows are a delightful backdrop to any already beautiful setting.

Quite remote but if you like it like this it’s great . Easy to get to places but you need a car. David and Sally great host. We would probably return for a short break for peace and quiet.
