"We have had the most wonderful stay at S41640, made even better by the fabulous hosts. The property is exactly as you would expect from Snaptrip - furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and set in an idyllic position. Whilst there, we visited Tintagel and Pendennis Castles, the Eden Project, Trebarwith Strand and Perranporth beaches. The village shop is well stocked and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Our 4 year old loved helping out with the chickens and the highlights of our holiday (read our 4 year old's into this) included going to visit Holly the horse down the lane, seeing the chickens walk past the house and saying hello to the cows in the field opposite. We had dinner in the Springer Spaniel and Royal Inn pubs, both of which were superb and in close proximity to this property. If you are going to go to either of these places later on in the week, make sure you book to avoid disappointment. Please note that unless you have an Orange mobile, you will not get a telephone signal, but this is easily rectified by walking half a mile up the hill!!!"

"Came here with 4 teenagers so disappointed to find under 15s couldn’t use the pool without supervision. I feel this should be made very clear on the website, as it restricted us all. I wouldn’t have booked if I knew. The lodge was not very clean and I spent the first couple of hours sweeping and wiping down surfaces particularly the balcony area. The BBQ was filthy and unusable which was another huge disappointment. One of the bathroom locks didn’t work. They tried to fix it but didn’t, so 4 teenagers felt very uncomfortable using the shower and toilet for fear of being walked in on.The dishwasher was another feature that led me to book, but sadly the plates didn’t fit in it, so I spent time having to wash up which also wasn’t part of my holiday plans!Other than that we enjoyed the local area. The Tarka Trail was lovely and we had a great day cycling and seeing the sights.Overall we made the best of it but felt it was let down by lack of attention to detail and poor information. Great if you have small children but avoid if you have teenagers wanting independence."

"The place was beautiful, people very helpful and kind. The accomodation was at an excellent standard, but I am sorry I didn't feel it was suitable for a young baby in our case a 14 month old crawling toddler. We had a gate on the top of the stairs which was safe, but she kept pulling it and rattling it. The was no gate downstairs where the bedrooms are. It was much cooler and had access outside from the downstairs. I think more toddler gates would be good. Upstairs there are lovely double doors on both sides of the barn but again no gates so I couldnt open the lovely large french doors. It was very restricted for a baby, I would suggest young children, teens and adults it's perfect. Next time I will book a ground floor place. Unfortunately none where available when I booked hence I booked this place as it said it was suitable for babies."

"The cottage is clean, spacious, homely and has everything you need. It really is a home from home. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The views are fantastic. We have mobile data with 3 and had adequate internet access from inside. The road leading to the cottage is a bumpy country lane but it didn't cause our small Suzuki any problems (other than dust) and we were out and about every day (the location is great.) The cottage has its own washing machine and freezer, and also iron/board and hairdryer, all of which we were thankful for. The kingsize bed is super comfy and the ensuite is modern and clean. There is ample storage for a family and we agreed this is the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. We would definitely return!"

"The owners were very nice and friendly, and the cottage is well-located for attractions, beaches etc, and close to a very good local shop. Unfortunately the cottage itself was cold and very damp; so much that my son found it hard to sleep. In addition, much of the equipment was old and rickety. The oven hood was barely functional (though the smoke alarm worked well!!), the communal washing machine and dryer barely worked; it was guesswork how much money to put in, and my clothes came out only slightly cleaner and wringing wet, so I ended up doing my second load by hand. Also, the pool table in the games room cost 50p a go, yet had no white ball. All in all, it was a disappointment, I'm afraid."
