"We had a fantastic stay at S21821. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, but also respectful of our privacy. They were always willing to help with tips on the area and they even lent us beach gear (windbreakers, chairs, etc.). The cottage was very clean and comfortable, very nicely equiped for our needs. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings, with beautifully maintained gardens and great views of the countryside. A perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends. The cottage is only a few minutes drive to two fantastic places to eat in Letterston: Something is Cooking and The Harp. Self-catering at the cottage was easy, as there are a couple of small shops very near, and larger supermarkets only about 15 minute drive to Fishguard or Haverfordwest. The Pembrokshire area is absolutely wonderful: lush views of rolling hills and great scenery, beautiful beaches and lots of things to do. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed discovering all the great beaches, especially Barafundle, Newgale Sands and Broad Haven North and South. We highly recommend a visit to the area, and a stay at The S21821. Mr & Mrs S, from Essex."

"We enjoyed a very comfortable weekend break at the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean but it was the little details that made it stand out, from the wonderfully efficient wood burner and ambient lighting to the comfort of the sofas and the beds. The cottage has been sensitively renovated and it has retained elements of its original character that gives it the charm but also has all the modern conveniences to make it feel like a home for a Family with a dog. The owners are friendly and helpful and were ready to answer any questions or sort out any issues if there had been any! They were also very generous too! They left a welcome hamper that was very well received by all of us. The Kids especially enjoyed the sweets! The location is good, Cardigan is only a ten minute drive and there are plenty of lovely beaches close by. Cilgerran castle is also just a few minutes drive and is wonderful for kids to explore and clamber up the towers to the ramparts and has wonderful views and walks alongside the river Teifi. We would definitely stay again!"

"Situated down a quiet country lane and surrounded by fields, S21893 is perfectly placed for visits around beautiful Pembrokeshire. We were welcomed with a home made chocolate cake, teabags and a pint of milk, a lovely and thoughtful touch made by Brenda and John. The view from the house is gorgeous and the peace and quiet were fabulous! The garden had a swing set and the shed contained outside games so the kids were kept happy whilst we enjoyed the peace and quiet and watched the huge variety of birds that visited the bird table, the woodpeckers being particularly entertaining! With an immaculate garden, we have come away with lawn envy! The inside is spacious, beautifully presented and contains everything you need to be a home from home. We would definitely visit S21893 again and would highly recommend this property. June 2011."

"S21842 was perfect for what we wanted. The garden is a bit tricky, and would not be good for younger children, but having glorious weather meant that we spent most of our time at the beach, a short drive away. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, and stopped by occasionally when they passed to check we had everything. There was a tray of tea and coffee, milk and a lovely lemon drizzle cake for our arrival, and it was home straight away. It was spotlessly clean, with a fire laid, but not so perfectly posh that you didn't want to touch anything. 3 adults and 3 older children had plenty of room. No phone signals at the cottage for us, (signal as you drive up the hill) but that suited us just fine."

"The location of the house provided an excellent base from which to explore north, south and western coasts. We found that despite what the weather was doing, there was always plenty to do for adults and children alike. The beaches available to us were without question of stunning quality with Saundersfoot, Newport Sands, Tenby North beach and Poppitt Sands worthy of particular mention. When the sun came out, which was quite often it has to be said, ’a day out at the beach’ has to be one of the best ways of enjoying a holiday anywhere in the UK. I should know because I’ve been nearly everywhere! July 2009. "
