About this property

Resting in the rural village of Cold Inn near Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire, is this wonderful, stone-fronted cottage, Cobwebs. Offering a blend of contemporary and traditional features, with its sleek, grey kitchen and inglenook fire hosting a woodburning stove, this pretty cottage is idyllic for a family of four. On arrival drive onto your own private drive through double gates, leading you to your home-from-home. Step inside to the open-plan living space, here budding chefs can make use of the well-equipped kitchen home to an electric oven and hob to rustle up tasty dishes; settle down at the dining table to enjoy meals together. Unwind in the sitting area on the plush sofa as the woodburning stove crackles nearby and relish the peaceful setting with a much-loved book. On warm evenings, have an alfresco affair on the large lawn, where you can bask in the sun on the furniture as your furry friend sprawls on the grass. As the sky grows dark, choose between two adorned bedrooms, a double and a mezzanine twin, ideal for the younger ones. Awake with a refreshing rinse in the shower room before joining the group at the dining table to enjoy a home-cooked breakfast. If you fancy a break from cooking, why not treat your loved ones to dining out at The Cross Inn or sample The Dragon Palace for Chinese cuisine. The cottage offers a storage room for bikes and wet suites so be sure to cycle around the beautiful surroundings and pack your water sports gear for a day at the coast. A short drive will lead you to the sandy beaches of Saundersfoot Beach and Coppet Hall Beach, the perfect place for canoeing and snorkelling with its shallow, clear waters. After a day spent on the sands, why not sample fresh seafood at the The Stonecrab or the Sao Mai Golden Dragon, both of which are adjacent to the Saundersfoot’s picturesque harbour where you can wander up to the 19th-century lighthouse. The keen anglers in your party will be well-catered for, with fishing trips on offer from the harbour where they can seek out their catch of the day! Be sure to check out the tiny seaside hamlet of Wiseman’s Bridge where you will find a quaint rocky beach, as well as an old railway line where you can easily access the historic Stepaside Iron Works through the wooded Pleasant Valley. Keen walkers can also embark on a two-footed adventure or cycle along the Wales Coast path for an adventure into the iconic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, here you can expect 186-miles of breath-taking scenery and gloriously sandy beaches. Spoil the little ones with a trip to Manor Wildlife Park to see their favourite animals or enjoy the delights of Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, with exotic animals, fair rides and adventure playgrounds. There is also the stunning National Trust site of Colby Woodland Garden to explored as well as the Heatherton World of Activities for action-packed fun or visit Pembrokeshire's first escape course at Tenby's Great Escape. For memories you will cherish, secure a stay at Cobwebs.

Saundersfoot, a thriving fishing community on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, is 3 miles from Tenby and nestled at the foot of a forested valley. The community has a variety of stores, taverns, and restaurants, as well as a beautiful harbour where you can go sailing or fishing. The lovely, sandy Blue Flag beaches are ideal for a relaxing swim, while walkers will appreciate the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which begins in nearby Amroth. Clear communication with the owner re keys and answering any questions that I had. The welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk & welsh cakes was very welcome after a long journey as was the log basket as the weather wasn't on my side!!! The cottage has everything that you would wish for including a secure garden which the dog loved - its a bit of a wasted space though if you haven't got a dog and some garden landscaping & tlc would go a long way. Would definitely book again and really enjoyed my stay.

Has everything you'd need for a weeks stay. The only thing that lets it down is the front garden and back garden are unkept. Lots of weeds and the grass hadnt been cut. Other than that a great place.
