Jenny, who was an excellent host, paid attention to every minute detail across the lodge and was quick to respond for any minor hiccups. The beds were extremely comfortable. It took us 45 mins to commute from London. I would definitely book again and will highly recommend.

Beautiful English countryside surroundings and we did a wine tasting close by which was lovely. Comfortable stay, great set up for everything and the place was really cosy warm. Hot tub great too! I left a dress and top hanging in the wardrobe which were very kindly posted to me very quickly so thank you so much for that. Above and beyond.

There's plenty of space and the separate annex allows for privacy if travelling with friends or colleagues, as we did. We parked three cars on the drive and with some juggling could get a fourth if necessary. We didn't actually use the hot-tub but the views across the valley are lovely and when the weather was nice we sat out and enjoyed the setting sun. Communication with Jen, the owner, was excellent from the moment we booked and we were able to ask any questions with quick responses. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat.
