"I stayed in The Coracle with my daughter for some quality mother and daughter time away. We had a wonderful time! Ironbridge Gorge was fabulously beautiful with so much to see and do; it was so nice to park the car in the convenient secure car park for the duration of our stay and walk instead. The cottage was very sweet. It was very small but so well equipped with everything we needed, and a super comfy bed. We received a very thoughtful welcome basket on arrival when we collected the key from the pork pie shop (excellent pies and sausage rolls which we could smell baking in the mornings). The gentleman was friendly and we felt very welcome. We didn't realise when we booked that we would also have use of the beautifully well kept and pretty garden; a real treat in the evenings to sit out and have our meals out there. The location is excellent, being almost directly opposite the ironbridge itself. Couldn't fault it, it was really superb."

"Beautifully presented, comfortable, warm, quaint cottage. Excellent location; less than 10 minutes walk away from historical sites of interest including the castle. Bus stop just outside to stratford-upon-Avon. Owner left plenty kitchen and food essentials: cloths, washing up liquid, milk, teabags, coffee, cake (!) etc. Parking was straightforward and 100 yards away from the property using the permit (the closest spaces had been taken). However you can park directly outside on the pavement if you wish, though we preferred not to. Castle balti Indian restaurant was excellent, 5 minute walk away. We absolutely intend to stay at Westgate Cottage again and would highly recommend it."

"We enjoyed our stay in this small, historic “city cottage” ideally suited for a couple exploring Warwick on foot from the doorstep. Apart from one unavoidable day trip out of town by car, we managed a week without it. In fact, our original intention had been to travel by train from home. Every amenity is within easy walking distance and we found the local park excellent for a healthy walk first thing in the morning. You’ll have plenty of company as this park is very popular for exercise. Also for quiet relaxation by the River Avon at any time of the day."

"Fantastic location to visit all the interesting places in Warwick just park your car when you arrive and no need to use again if you don't want to. There is a good bus service into Stratford and Coventry.Amazing diversity of eateries to choose from. Although the cottage is on a busy road the traffic didn't disturb our sleep. The cottage has everything you could want and Tina was on hand if needed. The cakes that greeted us on arrival were absolutely delicious."

"Although the cottages states car park 300 yards I didn't realise how far that was. As we didn't know Iron Bridge we didn't realise the shortage of parking available. I wasn't aware of the access via a very steep slope which after walking up hill from the car park was tiring. All luggage had to be transported up slope too. The cottage had plenty of pots pans etc.. The bathroom was excellent with a very good shower.I found the hum of the extractor annoying."
