We stayed at the The Pool House from 15-22nd July â22 and it was the perfect getaway for us.

Thank you Emma & Richard! The Pool House is extremely well equipped with everything you would need. The bed was amazingly comfortable & the property was spotlessly clean. Thank you for the locally made Cider & Apple juice - welcome refreshments as we had such beautiful hot weather and managed to use the Swimming Pool several times a day, every day of our stay! We had a fantastic time here & would highly recommend it to anyone. Emma & Richard weâre very kind & nothing was too much trouble. Can recommend A lovely Italian on the way to Exeter called Belluno. Generally the property was in good decorative order.

However the drains to the shower, wash basin and washing up sink need some attention as they are very slow to drain away. The bathroom itself is very small, and there is no mirror at a reasonable height for make-up etc. It also needs a heated towel rail. A hook to hang dressing gowns etc would be useful. Some sites still refer to the pool as being heated, which it isn't! The welcome pack was the smallest we have received in a holiday cottage, with only a pint of milk. However the 2 bottles of cider were appreciated! The bed was very comfortable and the neighbourhood was very quiet at night.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Pool House, as after having a fall off a small step at a castle, the wife had to rest her very damaged ankle.

The Pool House is small but comfy, clean and well equipped. Weather was even warm enough for a number of swims in the lovely outdoor pool, even though it was a bit chilly at first, it was quite refreshing. Good location for area interests and shopping. Only thing that would have been nice to have would be a tv that could connect to apps like you tube, Netflix etc. we tried but couldnât get it to work with any apps, but on a rainy evening we enjoyed a few games of scrabble instead. Lots of fun. We would recommend The Pool House to anyone looking for a nice, small getaway in Crediton.

Had a lovely stay in the pool house, and made good use of the pool given the weather we had last week.

Not a heated pool but Emma and Richard use a pool cover to retain heat by solar transfer, very pleasant warm temperatures recently meant a nice swim could be had without getting cold. Clear instructions for checking in/out, very welcome gesture in the fridge upon arrival of a couple of bottles of cider and a pint of milkâ¦ definitely a priority whichever bottle we grabbed first after driving across the country for several hours - thank you

Cute and cosy little property with beautiful views and fantastic pool.

The sun terrace is great for al fresco dining and basking in the sun (should there be any). Warm welcome from the owners whose thoughtful touches made the stay very enjoyable. The Pool House has all the amenities required and is well positioned for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Would definitely return.
