      What a beautiful property! Great location for local walks in the countryside and only a short drive to Alnwick. Not too far from Berwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and many other north east locations bursting with historical attractions. Really clear instructions on how to find the place and flexible self-check-in. The property was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. What made us choose this property was the leisure facilities! Free to use as part of our stay were the tennis courts (tennis rackets and balls were very kindly provided in the property, with equipment in the games room in the courtyard too), the crazy golf course, pool table and table tennis table! We were also entitled to 90 mins in the leisure centre daily, that had a pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, steam room and sauna! Lastly, the on-site eatery is more than just a cafe, it's a restaurant too (worth booking a table in advance!) and a bar! I had a fantastic time here and I'd really recommend the place. Thank you! :)

      Private location, hot tub, two bathrooms always a bonus. Large bed in main room far better than a double. Good size all round. Beautiful view from the back and whilst sitting in the hot tub. The outdoor sofa cushions had been left out in the rain before our arrival. They couldn’t be sat on and it was a beautiful sunny evening, and we couldn’t use the outdoor seating. Need to have a storage area for the cushions. My main complaint was the cleaner standing outside the property at 9:25am. Check out was 10am. I was in the main bedroom, and she just stood there. This made me feel uncomfortable and I had to draw the curtains. Even though I did this she didn’t get the hint and move on, she continued to stand outside. When another van cleared she moved and went in to start the cleaning. It was not a good experience! And bad manners.

      Just back from a fabulous weekend at this beautiful lodge. Everything was perfect. Communication was prompt and helpful. The lodge itself is well equipped and spacious. (We were a party of 4 adults) the single beds were a good size. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm with a fantastic view across the countryside. The decking area was spacious, and gowns were provided for our use. The area was lovely, it's a 2 mile walk into Hexham which we did easily (and got an Uber back up the hill!) Lovely shops and restaurants in Hexham. We tried the Beaumont for lunch (fab!) and a lovely Sunday lunch at 'The Heart of Northumberland' The lodge is on a very well kept site and had parking for 2 cars. Thank you! We would definitely recommend and hope to return some day.

      We just got home from the most relaxing stay at most the most beutiful cottage at the most beautifull surroundings.

      The pictures on the listing doesn't do it justice. The cottage is spacious and cosy and we had everything what we needed and more. On arrival we were greeted with kind and toughtfull gift - delicious local butter, honey, bread and milk and cold prosecco and beers. Every room is perfect , the beds are very comfortable and the hot tube takes the whole experince on another level. We loved the view from the garden and the piece, quite and calm surroundings .The cottage is suitable for all ages - it is all fenced and secure if you have young kids and it is all on one floor if you have older or strugguling with stairs members of the family. We loved the little library at the lounge and the alexa in the kitchen.Thank you for creating this amazing space , we will be back.
