What our customers say about their holidays

The stay was amazing and the property is beautiful, we were there for a wedding ...

The stay was amazing and the property is beautiful, we were there for a wedding and therefore the only downside for us was the hot water system, on the second day the hot water tank ran out after one bath (which was half way full) we had to use the boost system in which we waited 2 hours for the hot water to return and during my sister having a short shower the hot water had once again ran out As a result of this- we had to use kettle water mixed with cold to wash the children in bath Again we boosted the water but unfortunately we had no hot water until the next morning- which meant all of us had to get up at 5am and use the showers to wash our hairs etc- even though we loved our stay here- this problem really affected the wedding and made us late for the make up and hair that we was supposed to attend from 630 am due to the waiting for the hot water system In tried to report the issue- I requested a call back in which I wasn’t able to get the the phone on time before it rang off- when I tried to ring back it was after closing time and therefore I reported it too the emergency line in which the lady on the phone was very unhelpful and we were just told that if you’ve used all the hot water then there’s nothing that could be done about it Other than that the facilities in the house were amazing, beds were comfortable and the view is beautiful through the patio windows Would definitely recommend staying here but make sure you read about the water system carefully so it can be used effectively to avoid the same situation

Little place was spotless and very well equipped with modern, top quality fixtures and fittings.

Even our little dog had a bowl, towel and throws. She loved the secure garden and safe walks down the lane to the field where she could run free, The plastic grass was such a bonus, no muddy paws and a lovely place to sit and take in the view and the sunset. The welcome basket was filled with delicious bread, lovely cheese, biscuits, crisps and beer all from the local Holmes Mill Food Hall. The bed was huge and very comfortable with spotless white linen. we slept so well,,, The View is definitely 5* in every way. But the actual star of the show is Anna the owner who greeted us with her lovely children. She goes above and beyond to make sure your holiday is perfect. This will not be our last visit as we love the area and the easy access it provides to Clitheroe, the Lakes, Skipton, St Annes, Lytham etc. Most of the pubs in the area are dog friendly so eating out was no problem at all. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and very comfortable indeed. June and Douggy and Nellyx

      An absolutely stunning find.

Placed close enough to the village center and supermarkets that its just a two minute walk away, but secluded enough that you're out the way of the noise. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean from top to bottom and all precautions had been taken to make sure there was no cross contamination from the previous visitors. With dog friendly places, there's always a worry of the rooms smelling "Doggy" however, every single room was clean and fresh and no odors or dog hairs. The couch and bed were amazingly comfortable and the log burner was a brilliant addition Any kitchen utensil you can think of is provided as well as spotlessly clean cutlery, glasses, plates and cups as well as washing up liquid, hand cleaner and even biscuits, sweets and a fresh pint of milk left in the fridge. The only thing i would note is that the stairs are steep. not a problem for us, however, an older couple may have problems getting up and down. will definitely be booking this again.

This little gem was perfect for us situated in a great location with an outstanding view.

The facilities were all of a very high standard both inside and out. It was very private and perfect for our little dog with safe walks and even a field for her to run in within 3 minutes of the property. It definitely deserves the 5* rating for cleanliness, comfort and quality. The welcoming pack was lovely, especially the delicious bread and cheese. The bed was amazing with beautiful linen, even our little dog was provided with throws, towel, bowl and treats. Anna and her family who live next door and own it have thought of everything. We were close to the A59 which made it easy to find our way to Clitheroe, Skipton, Settle ,Dunsop Bridge, Ribchester as well as being able to discover some of the lovely little villages around. We had a lovely family meal at the Lord Nelson in Langho which was really dog friendly. A massive thank you to Anna for being so kind and thoughtful.Your very high standards and hard work make View@Langho a very special place.

Amazing stay from start to finish.

Loved this property- so well designed and beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean and the view from the terrace/patio was stunning. Lots of lovely things to do in the locality too- after a long day of exploration and adventure the cottage was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Well equipped- consideration has been given to every last detail. Friendly host, lovely welcome basket and watching the cows at the bottom of the garden was surprisingly entertaining! We have stayed at a few holiday cottages over the years and this one was the best for our needs, level access shower, washing and drying facilities and the biggest bed in the world! Sanctuary of healing is 2 mins walk and has a nice organic cafe and does a lovely massage. We’ve come home and feel it was one of the easiest and most relaxing holidays we’ve had. This property is excellent and played a large part in us having such a wonderful and comfortable stay,
