    This was our second visit to Mabel's Stable and did not disappoint.We absolutely love the Ribble Valley and Mabel's Stable is ideally located both for the town of Clitheroe and for numerous walks from the cottage door and further afield. The location is ideal, surrounded by fields but Aldi is 400m up the road!The cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped even with a Quooker tap.Lancashire folk are so friendly.We shall, no doubt, be making a third visit in due course.

    Mabel’s Stable was a very clean, well maintained, spacious and modern place with a calming field view and in a pleasant, quiet location.Plenty of walks from the door and short car rides to other Ribble Valley spots and nice pubs for eating out.

    Neva arrived due to car trouble called AA out half way there. Owners went all out to help offering to pick us up but we were devastated/traumatised - and car was vital to trips we had planned, made the decision to return home to our garage in M/cr who cudnt find fault , earliest in-depth inspection 28th due to bank hol - due home 29th! The accommodation wud have been evrithin we cud wish for and more, and the help we were offered was 2nd to none. Full marks for the nice people and gorgus cottage accomodation, it cudnt be anything else with such kind owners.
