Before you book that plane ticket to some far-flung destination, consider taking your next luxury holiday to Cornwall. Yes, Cornwall! A firm-favourite with families, honeymooners, and surfers, Cornwall has everything you could ever wish for, including amazing sandy beaches, world-class restaurants and fascinating historic landmarks. The accommodation's pretty good too, and you'll find lots of great hot tub cottages in Cornwall for that added touch of indulgence. Who needs the Caribbean when you've got Carlyon Bay!

Nothing says luxury than your own private hot tub. How about relaxing underneath the clear Cornish sky, perhaps sipping on some champagne and forgetting all the stresses and strains of 'normal' life? Sounds blissful? Well, there are actually lots of excellent Cornwall hot tub cottages, something for all tastes and budgets, whether you're looking for a cosy little hideaway for two, or a spacious modern property to accommodate your next surfing holiday.

What to do on your Cornwall cottage holiday

Although it would be nice to stay in the hot tub for a fortnight, it's probably not healthy! And you'll undoubtedly want to get out and explore this stunning part of the world. Cornwall is packed full of amazing things to see and do and caters for all kinds of travellers. Its beaches, for example, range from lively surf spots like Fistral Beach to more tranquil strips of sand like Peter's Point Beach, a top place to head if you're looking to escape the crowds.

While Cornish beaches are amazing, what really makes this part of the country unique is the history and that tangible feeling of Arthurian Magic all around you. If history is your thing, then Tintagel is a must visit, a magnificent 12th century castle built along a cliff edge. If you're feeling particularly taken with the magic of the place, you might head to the Witchcraft Museum in Boscastle, which occasionally opens at night for a very special, spooky experience!

Cottages deliver the very best in comfort and quality, which is why you'll find a generous choice of excellent hot tub cottages in Cornwall – stunning accommodation that goes well beyond the norm to deliver an unforgettable holiday experience.

What our customers say about their holidays

    • Tanya - Verified booking

This was meant to be a very relaxing family holiday.

We found on arrival that the lodge was in very poor condition. There was pet and human hair in the carpet and in the draws! The property had a very offensive smell of a stale/mould. The cupboards in the kitchen gave off an awful musky smell. Myself and my disabled mother spent the first day cleaning the whole place and yet the property owners failed to have a decent working hoover or alternative dust pan and brush forcing me to clean the floor on my hands and knees! The hoover smelt so bad when switched on the bag has clearly never seen the light of day! It was like 50 pairs of old smelling socks! Needless to say I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience of our stay. No one should have to have gone on holiday only to have to spent the first few hours cleaning! I had to buy my own air fresheners to help keep the bad smells at bay. We were keen to leave the lodge on a daily basis but sadly the weather was not on our side and we spent many a rainy day in the lodge. The other thing is if it rains you have nowhere to dry your washing. A clothes horse would have been really handy! The place on a whole was not very inviting. The only decent thing was the hot tub. However I will point out that two of the head rests were missing and one day the owner left his bag of chemicals lying around and forgot to switch the hot tub back on. I have a young 3year old who luckily didn’t get hold of these chemicals. The owners were made aware of all of these matters but nothing was done to compensate us. The outside bbq was rusty and full of old coal which again the smell was just horrendous, safe to say we didn’t use this but it would have been nice to have had the option given it was advertised as having a bbq. The sofa bed is just awful! It is made up of springs and no padding, this is not fit for anyone to sleep on and my daughter complained each evening from how uncomfortable it was! On the last day the owner called and left me a voice message to say a new WiFi router was being installed. We came back to the lodge to find a new router but no instructions on what the new password was so we had no use of the telly or WiFi connection which was very disappointing! The mobile number I had been emailed wasn’t connecting and the office was closed. All in all a dry disappointing stay at Keylow and I would like to be compensated for spending a week feeling miserable in a holiday lodge with misleading pictures and information on your website.

Lovely house, lovely position, the view was stunning from the balcony.

Poor maintenance and cleanliness in certain areas really let the property and our holiday down. The master bedroom had black mold by the windows. The downstairs outside area was very dirty. The table had all green mold all under the glass. This was unusable, the table and chairs on the balcony were filthy from being left outside and the sunbeds were rusty. There were problems with the jacuzzi, after 3 days, we noticed all this dirt and grime around the jacuzzi and dirt floating all on the top. It should have been maintained twice during our stay according to the handbook in the house. Contacted Sykes three times for help, was told the company had been to sort it. No one arrived, jacuzzi was unusable, tried to clean it myself. Made no difference, asked Sykes for help, said they would speak to owners re: compensation. Nothing was done, couldn’t use it. This really upset everyone as this was a very special celebration for us all and cost me a lot of money for 1 week. Met the maintenance guy as we were leaving and he tried to say he jumped the fence to clean the jacuzzi during our stay. Well, what can you say to that? He was very rude and arrogant because he knew he had not done his job. I was angry and we all left to drive home gobsmacked by his response. Received an email to say owners weren’t prepared to apologise or take any responsibility. Such a disappointing attitude. No care or attention to detail, its obviously about the fast turnover of guests in high season and customer care and satisfaction is not a priority. Very sad end to what should of been a fab time celebrating with my family.

Lovely big spacious villa with amazing views , the hot tub is a great added bonus !

However upon arrival it was very evident that outside was extremely dirty . When we opened the French doors that led to the balcony ,the first thing that greeted us was clumps of wet grass all over the decking leading up to the hot tub ,the upvc door frames inside were absolutely filthy and so was the guttering (definitely hadn’t been cleaned this year) so first thing we had to do was clean the whole decking area and wipe over the upvc. The hot tub had quite a bit of sand in ,so water definitely wasn’t changed upon arrival ,probably topped up and chemicals added but listing states that water is changed after every guest so that’s incorrect ,plus there’s no way a hot tub would reach 38 degrees in a 6 hour window change!! 2nd bed base was broken upon arrival (which should have been picked up on changeover!) but once reported it was repaired within an hour -excellent service from Carbis Bay ! There was no light bulb in 3rd bedroom lamp (again should have been checked before our arrival ) Overall the Villa is lovely but the lack of cleanliness outside really let it down, when you’re paying premium prices you expect the standards to be the same,so unfortunately I wouldn’t stay in this villa again for that reason. (I have the photos of the outside area if you’d like me to send them over !!)

      Honest review.

.. location wasn’t the best nothing really around apart from 1 pub (for local people) and a londis, closest supermarket about 20 minute drive each way. We did more driving than anything this last week nothing local that’s any good. Lodge itself. Jacuzzi was brilliant perfect for relaxing after a long drive everyday. Outside furniture seats just left out to ruin in rain which was disappointing. No bbq at the lodge, I think you had to request one from reception. No washing line of any kind to dry towels or bathing suits,(other 2 lodges do have one each) Living room/kitchen open plan good setup all modern appliances in kitchen all work as they should. Don’t expect to be able to put a lot in fridge only essentials. Comfy sofa in room and a single chair also tv with freeview reception goes quite a bit but your not there to sit and watch tv. Bedroom 1 3 quarter bed very comfortable little wardrobe and plenty drawer space. Bedroom 2 two single beds again comfy and enough storage. Shower room. Shower wouldn’t drain properly and had a leak. Toilet and basin as expected. Overall 6/10 was ok probably wouldn’t stop again as location too far from anywhere but that was my fault when booking not Sykes. Looking forward to our next holiday in Newquay with Sykes though.

The property is well located for Sennen Cove, but the name “sea the view” is a bit misleading as it doesn’t really have sea views.

The rooms are very nice quality and design and a lot of thought has gone into it. The photos on the listing showed comfy outdoor furniture but this had been replaced with less lounge furniture (which is obviously easier for them to maintain). So there was nowhere we could all sit and lounge outside (the comfy corner sofa chairs were not there, the swing chairs had been taken down etc). So it wasn’t quite as expected. The bed linen was lovely quality but the pillows were awful - I get this is very personal but I had to go out and buy some as they were that poor and the main bed had a super firm mattress. We had problems with the main patio door not working which meant there was a gap when they were closed and as it is quite an exposed garden the draft and noise of the wind was quite annoying. In addition we had a day of driving rain which lead to a large leak flooding the floor under the picture window. Eating in all the basics crockery was there but for example there was no salad bowl or serving plates, so if you were wanting to do a nice meal in it was a bit basic. The addition of an electric charger was very helpful. It was lovely but overall for the high price I don’t think it quite delivered.
