"The Garden Cottage is wonderful and we'll certainly look to return if staying in that area again. A lovely modern two floor detached building behind the main (owner's) property, there is ample secure parking in a graveled parking area (lit on a sensor in the evenings) accessed via the private driveway running past the main house - you can park within a few feet of the front door. Key-safe is on the wall next to the front door containing the two sets of door keys. Nice peaceful lawn/garden and patio area at the rear of the building. Owners provided useful information in advance via phone/email and in person were warmly welcoming and available for assistance throughout the stay (though no help was actually needed) but kept to themselves and did not impose.Bedroom (comfy bed) and bathroom are downstairs with kitchen / lounge / breakfast bar upstairs, which is unusual, but works well. Immaculately clean, tastefully laid out, fitted, furnished and decorated. Useful and easy to follow folder of information on using the heating and cooking equipment and local amenities. Particularly loved the additional touches of providing a loaf of bread with butter-spread and chilled bottle of Prosecco (the latter of which was very welcome after long drive). Also utilized the DVDs and board games in the evenings. The only elements it lacked (which can't be helped and were not of concern to us anyway) were that it was not in scenic surroundings - so no stunning views - and the building itself is plain and functional. In all important aspects, however, 10/10."

"What a fantastic place! The best we have ever stayed in (and we have been doing this for many years, at least twice a year!). Cottage was extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming - and dog friendly! Felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. And the welcome pack was something else - never have we had anything like it before - homemade cake, fizz, butter, bread, marmalade, cereal, milk, eggs, biscuits and more! Liz, the owner, was an amazing host, checking in to see all ok but letting us get on with our holiday - but you knew she was there if needed. The garden is fabulous too - surrounded by fields/horses, but not far from Banbury where there is a large selection of shops to suit everyone. Liz, you are an amazing host - and we would love to come back again! Thank you so much :) xx"

"The cottage is beautiful and refurbished to a high standard. It is small, but cosy and comfortable. The stairs are steep and shallow at points which should expecting from such an old property, but can be tricky. The property lacks a freezer, which isn’t the biggest problem, other than this the kitchen is very well equipped. The kitchen table has stools rather then chairs, could impact accessibility for some guests. It’s also not clear in the information that there is joint access in front of the property for the 2 attached cottages, it wasn’t overly used during our weeks stay, but it does mean people can walk right in front of the cottage."

"We had a wonderful weekend. The caravan was clean, well kept and so comfy. The facilities were ideal, the WiFi worked brilliantly, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The site is very clean and tidy with a very reasonably priced shop and the pool area was a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon. My son described it as “the best place we’ve ever stayed in”. We would not hesitate to stay here again.Owner was very helpful before the visit, site staff were also helpful. Have already recommended to friends and mum online group. The site was ideal, quiet, clean and everything you could want/need."

"Enjoyed our 4 night stay at the end of March. We used our Tesco club card points to purchase a £100 voucher to put towards our booking. We think its great that the accommodation offered a variety of short stay options. Additions to cottage: Larger bathroom towels would be good and a bathroom rug to stand on when you get out of shower. A DVD player would also be great for families, we brought our own along as the owner said the details on the website are incorrect and you couldn't reserve one because they don't have any to provide."
