    Mumbles Holiday Cottages

The Mumbles is a headland on the western edge of Swansea Bay, Wales. A cosy but cosmopolitan area, Mumbles holiday cottages are ideal for a seaside break, especially to enjoy some of the renowned local ice cream!

Sitting at the beginning of the Gower Peninsula, Mumbles is a favoured seaside resort for the Welsh, also frequented by tourists from further afield. Its promenade is full of cafes with coastal views, dominated by a lighthouse dating to 1794, boasting a traditional Victorian pier that lends itself perfectly to ambling or crabbing. Slightly inland, Oystermouth Castle sits on a hilltop with fantastic sea views. Find your perfect family holiday by booking one of our open-plan farmhouses, or opt for a romantic break for two with a hot tub. We’ve got great dog-friendly accommodation in Mumbles, too, so bring Fido along to explore this coastal town.

Holiday cottages in Mumbles booked through Snaptrip are protected by our best price guarantee. Filter your property search by feature to find places to stay with hot tubs, swimming pools and fire pits, or give our friendly customer service team a call for help with booking. What can I say about my stay? It was simply wonderful. Your home is perfect for visiting Mumbles and surrounding areas. Everything that you need is right at your door step, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shops, castle, pier, walks, sites. The house is warm, cosy, beautifully decorated, tasteful furniture and furnishings, comfortable beds, great shower, all kitchen appliances with everything and more that we could possibly ask for. Location is perfect, we explored the whole peninsula, Swansea and the Black Mountain. It was truly a memorable time and I hope to come back soon. You and your family really thought about everything that someone travelling could need and it really shows. All the small details are much appreciated, from the DAB in the kitchen to the lovely hand gel in the bathroom to fast wifi. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us, it was really very special.

Beautiful house, really enjoyed being there. Very clean, quality fittings, with lots of homely touches. Comfy bed, quality bedding. Loved the big fridge, with iced water etc. Nice welcome pack. Ideal location to walk into Mumbles & local beaches, bit of a climb back up to house, but as long as you're reasonably fit, no problem. Nice not having to use the car most days. There were only two of us, so we only really used parts of the house & were rattling about a bit. It is a large house & would be ideal for a larger group, or even two small families...loads of room. Excellent to have own parking on drive too. Very quiet area, although we did have builders two doors away, who woke us at 7.30 each morning arriving in their vans & starting machinery, but this didn't really detract from our enjoyment of the place.

An amazing holiday had here. Located in the centre of Mumbles with it's own parking space..that's worth it's weight in gold. The cottage was well presented, welcoming and comfortable (the king size bed was a dream!) decorated to a high standard and very clean. It was the most equipped holiday let we've stayed in. Toilets rolls, soap, cleaning products, washing up liquid, tea, coffee and milk etc. This property isn't really suited to small children or the less mobile due to the quirky layout, stairs going up to the bedrooms and down to the bathroom (it clearly stated this in the description and wasn't an issue for us personally)Also, the outside area isn't enclosed so children could go into the road. However, for us with a 12 year old this house was amazing

I sent an email on Wednesday as we were eating breakfast to the sound of very loud banging and drilling from building work on the house next door. This was clearly major work, starting by 9am each day. This meant that we could not enjoy the relaxing week we so needed. It also meant that the traffic in the road was even heavier than usual. Walters Crescent has a lot of Blue badge parking, and people parking to pop into Tescos. Both these groups frequently park on the double yellow lines and require multiple point turns to get back out. With the building vans as well, this was so much worse and we nearly got blocked in several times. This spoilt our holiday and we would appreciate a refund to reflect the 4 days of severe disruption.

Enjoyed our stay at Aadreff. It's a well equipped bungalow in a quiet location . The roads leading to it are quite steep so I would suggest the less able person would struggle a bit. The property is a short 5 minute walk from the coastal path which we found to be a lovely walk across to Rotherslade beach which is a mile and not overly strenuous. The bungalow is approximately a 15 minute walk across to the more populated Mumbles road area where there are plenty of pubs / eateries. Recommend the Pilot for real ale brewed on the premises The bungalow itself is cosy with a double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds. There is a lovely big bathroom with walk in shower And the main room is a kitchen / lounge area
