What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Sally Duddy - Verified booking

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday staying in this amazing house. The house was really big and spacious. My 2 teenagers loved their rooms and Sheila, the owner was so thoughtful with all the extra bits eg. a box with forgotten items, plus milk and Welsh cakes along with 2 folders of useful information and leaflets on the local area. The house is set in a lovely area with a very short walk to the lovely Rest Bay beach, where we did paddle boarding, surfing and body boarding. Plus we hired out bikes and went for lovely coastal walks. The other end of town - all walking distance - has amusements, rides and pubs with really great singers, plus another sandy beach. There's also various pubs to walk to for meals out etc. Plenty of things to do and visit in the area also.

This is a really great property and it was ideal for our family of 4 plus a dog. The decor is modern, with some lovely original features (I loved the tiled, open fireplace!) and the cleanliness was to a high standard. The house is very spacious and the enclosed back garden was perfect for the dog (and the public playing fields opposite the properly were great for quick walks). The location is ideal, the local area is decent with lots of good pubs and options for eating out, plus the coastline is beautiful with great beaches and a harbour.

We had a great week staying at this property which is in easy walking distance of the beautiful Rest Bay. We were impressed with the facilities at the house and the safe secure garden for our spaniel. He loved walks on the heathland at the end of the road and we enjoyed seeing some lovely sunsets over the sea. Our daughter had to work for a few days while we were away and found the upstairs bedroom/study very useful and the internet connection was very reliable. We would love to stay here again.

This lovely bungalow was perfect for our stay. Everything had been thought out really well, with everything you could wish for. Beds were comfortable, perfect facilities throughout. A real home from home. The location is excellent. Lovely walks at the end of the road. Perfect for town. There was a lovely Fish and Chip Bar with local shop just around the corner. It was excellent. I would like to stay again in the future.

A very comfortable, well equipped bungalow in a superb location. The owner is very responsive to any contact. The bungalow is very roomy and located ideally for walking, Golf and visiting the superb Gower Peninsula. Our second visit and this time we stayed for two weeks. Highly recommended and we stay in several cottages each year on golf trips and many not up to this standard.
