What our customers say about their holidays

    • Anne - Verified booking

Bonnieview is a fantastic property very close to the east beach.

The house has everything you need for a great holiday. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the showers were fantastic. You have a side view of the beach from the upstairs front bedroom which also has a small balcony which was just lovely. There is also a rear bedroom upstairs which again is lovely and both bedrooms are en-suite. Downstairs there is an open plan living room kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, oven, halogen hob and microwave - all in excellent condition. There is a downstairs bedroom and a further shower room. The property does sit right on a main road but we didn’t hear any noise really other than traffic. There’s a small patio area at the rear of the property that gets the sun in the evening. Even the neighbours were super friendly! We had an amazing time at Bonnieview and would highly recommend it. Communication from Michele was excellent and there honestly no negatives about this beautiful house. Hopefully we’ll be back soon

We had a lovely holiday and the cottage is comfortable and everything you need is provided for.

However there were two issues we had with the house that spoiled our overall experience. 1) There was a distinctly rotten smell at times in the cottage, which we raised with the owners. We weren't sure if it was from the drains or possibly the fridge/freezer as every time you opened the fridge door the smell seemed to become more intense. Nothing was found by the owners and no solution was put forward. We put up with the issue but this resulted in us leaving a day early. 2) The garden is advertised as dog friendly. Sadly at the moment it is anything but and is overgrown and untidy. There was a pile of wood beside the patio for the wood burner and numerous pieces had nails sticking out of them. Very dangerous if your dog is a climber like our dog. In general it wasn't a pleasant place to sit out in. After a difficult for my wife and I this was hugely disappointing and we won't be back

A lovely wee cottage with a pleasant enclosed garden.

We felt welcome immediately with the lovely welcome pack left by the owners. We felt it was very dog friendly and the welcome pack included treats for the pups. Very clean and compact little house which is nicely decorated - very cute. Lots to do nearby - the beaches were amazing and luckily we enjoyed sunny days then cosy nights by the fire. Plenty of nice walks, wildlife (peregrine falcon in the garden on our last day), restaurants, pubs and takeaways within walking distance. Donna sent a message soon after our arrival to check we had settled in or if we needed anything which we appreciated - we had everything we needed and had a pleasant and enjoyable visit. Thank you!

If you want a fabulous, modern, clean well equipped holiday house then 'This is IT' It is so close to the beach, all the amenities in Lossiemouth.

The bus stop to Elgin where you can link with other buses and the train is literally outside the house. There are too many walks and things to do it eould not leave room to tell you about the house. We were a party of 5. The 3 bedrooms with accompanying en-suites was perfect to allow each couple or person their privacy. We were all family but all adults now. The host was quick to get in touch snd very welcoming giving us a number to ring shojld we have needed it. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

      Lovely cottage.

Unfortunately first cottage which had been booked and deposit paid was withdrawn within two months of the start of our holiday. Wee Wickie was £350 more Skye’s only contributed £50 towards difference. Took 45 minutes to answer the phone on two occasions., and the choice at this late stage was one of one as we had dogs. Would definitely not recommend this company we have had holiday cottages for many years and never had this happen.
