What our customers say about their holidays

      Spectacular views

We rented the Studio which flows into the main property so that our family of seven adults could spend a long weekend together. The building is meticulously planned with a beautiful bathroom for each bedroom. There are several seating areas so one can enjoy different views in peace. The home is stylishly decorated and is spacious, light and very comfortable with spectacular views straight onto cornfields beyond its own delightful ‘prairie’ garden. The kitchen is well equipped and great to prepare meals to enjoy in the spacious dining area. Lewes Barn is only 75 minutes from London yet it felt a world away; and so easy to get to Charleston, Lewes, Saltdean Lido, Rottingdean and the beautiful South Downs and wonderful to get back and enjoy a dip in the hot tub or a drink on the upper terrace before supper. We would happily have stayed much longer.

Everything was of such a high standard

What a beautiful, beautiful building. Everything was of such a high standard throughout. The bedding, the sofas, the complimentary teas and coffee, the robes for the hot tub - all beautifully sourced and gorgeous. Communication has been excellent and any queries answered swiftly. We have been on one day trip out on our 5 day stay here which speaks volumes for the accommodation. Every detail has been considered. We have been able to really switch off. The hot tub overlooking the stunning countryside has been a highlight - even better that there are plenty of plastic wine and champagne flutes provided so you can enjoy a cheeky drink or two in there!

      Every tiny detail is considered

This is my second stay at Lewes Barn for work and I couldn’t be more impressed. Every tiny detail is considered from the hypnos matresses to the beautiful linens and excellent kitchen equipment. The bathroom is great, underfloor heating, a capacious bath and a power shower. Rebecca, the manager arranged for milk, bread and basic groceries to be there for my arrival which was great after a long journey. The views are stunning with huge windows all along the front of the property and it is a delight to walk straight out onto the Downs. Bravo, great job, go and stay without a moment’s worry about anything.

      Simply stunning setting

I couldn’t recommend Lewes Barn more highly! What a beautiful setting to sit back and totally relax in, a home away from home. No stone left unturned and every detail thought of. Simply stunning setting and amazing hospitality. The team went above and beyond in responding to questions, being available to help and accommodate us and they even provided an amazing cake for our birthday celebration. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back again, hopefully very soon!
