What our customers are saying about our Group Accommodation Cottages In England To Rent.

"It could be fantastic with a few adjustments. In both the twin rooms upstairs only 1 of the skylights had working blinds. And the windows that did have blinds, the blinds were light coloured so didn’t really do anything to keep the light out. My children were up with the sun every morning and so were we. I booked the cottage on the premise that there was WiFi available. It was definitely one of the main criteria when we were looking for accommodation. We have small children who go to bed early and we wanted to watch films on the computer. Also, they like to relax with their kindles after a busy day exploring. Unfortunately, there was no WiFi available in Goose Cottage. I really feel that this cottage cannot be advertised as WiFi enabled and feel quite angry that it is not as advertised. We asked the vendors and were told they had someone coming Monday. There was still no WiFi when we left. On the other hand, my children thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals everyday and the owner was lovely with the children. Very patient with the thousand questions asked. I feel quite bad with the low scores as most things were great, but our main criteria wasn’t sufficiently met."

"We stayed here. 4 adults, a teenager and 2 under 3 years old. We had a great time! Thank you. I was worried about the space before we arrived but there was no need! The cottage is cosy but we felt really comfortable. The cottage has a really nice atmosphere and we thought the location was good. The cottage was really nicely presented, nice furniture and lots of cutlery and pots in the kitchen. I was worried the parking might be a problem but again it wasn't too bad. We parked at Freshwater and Oxen cove, they had spaces in the evening but they could get busy during the day. We were able to quickly unload just across the road in the Yacht Club car park. We didn't have any problems with the fish market behind the cottage, it wasn't too noisy. Brixham is a beautiful village and the surrounding coastline is great to explore. We were really lucky and got to swim with local seals in Churston Cove just to the North."

"The focus of our break was a concert at Snape maltings, so 5 minutes away by car, yet utterly peaceful - couldn’t be better. Perfect for our dog too with the large, safe garden and plenty of walks to hand. As the weather was so beautiful over Easter, we too appreciated the garden which is well equipped with comfortable seating. One suggestion - in the Spring, particularly with a good weather forecast, As well as the welcome pack of goodies, we appreciated the ample stocks of kitchen towel, loo roll, washing &cleaning materials - so important when shops are at a distance - besides, who wants to bother on holiday?! The separate wine/beer fridge and the dining room canteen of cutlery (not that we used the latter) were very impressive - a first in any property we’ve been in! Finally, a big tick for the superbly comfy bed. I usually return from trips with my back aching for my own bed - not this time!"

"Goose Cottage was amazing! Pat and her Son Alastair were lovely people, very welcoming and friendly on arrival - nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself was lovely and clean with all of the equipment we needed for our family holiday. The garden areas were lovely, Pat fed the animals each morning and the children (and adults) were able to join in the fun!The facilities on site were great - a lovely garden area with bench just outside the back door, the pool, the tennis court and a playground which the children in our group loved. Plenty of fields locally too so you could go for a walk in the day or evening if you wanted to and enjoy the views of the sunset. We'd highly recommend Goose Cottage and the other Cottages at Quinceborough Farm. We had relatives who stayed in another at the same time as us and they loved it too!"

"I love staying here and have been fortunate to stay here across the last 30+ years. Although the property is now owned by someone different and more recently is rented out through Wyke Dorset Cottages, I think this has been a great improvement and makes it even better to stay here. I loved being able to introduce my elderly mother (downstairs bedroom with toilet and wet room perfect for a disabled guest) and my 3 teenage children to somewhere I have wonderful memories of staying. It felt like our home for the week not just a holiday rental. It is so well located for driving further afield along the Jurasic Coast and also walking to the shops and beach. Can recommend it highly to any groups, families or friends that want to visit this part of the world."
