Granary 2 sits on the first floor of a wonderfully converted farm building in the lovely Herefordshire village of Madley. Within walking distance of two pubs and a shop, as well as being within easy distance of some fine opportunities, this can be the ideal base for a relaxing couple's getaway or an adventure-filled holiday. Note: Property can be booked with Ref. 974077, together they sleep four people.

Madley, a village in Herefordshire, offers two pubs and a Post Office/convenience store, it also has its own moat abounding in wildlife and flora. It sits in between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. Hereford is a majestic cathedral city served by a wealth of amenities and fine architecture. Alternatively, Hay-on-Wye rests over the border into Wales, known as the town of books, a truly fascinating place to visit.

    The cottage was warm and facilities were good and the basket of goodies and flowers was a very nice touch.Some additional items for the kitchen such as a few more sauce pans, frying pan and maybe a cafetiere would add that extra touch but are certainly not deal breakers. We had a lovely time and the host was extremely helpful and welcoming

    The host Johnathon was friendly and accommodating, the welcome hamper provided was a nice touch. Granary 2 was clean warm and cosy however the access and surrounding grounds can get a bit difficult to navigate in bad wet conditions (but no one can control the weather) overall a lovely place to stay for business or pleasure and I’m sure I will return.
