    Caerlaverock Castle

    Robert Burns House

    Scotland’s infamous national bard Robert Burns spent his last years in this house, which has now become a pilgrimage for Burns’ fans and famous poets from all over the world. In the house, we see how the poet and his family lived in the late eighteenth century, including some of Burns' original manuscripts and personal belongings; and the desk and chair in his study where he wrote many of his best works.
