Yes we had a lovely break, beautiful cottage but there were just a couple of things I think the owner could maybe improve on.

      1. The lounge area could do with a 2 extra comfy chairs. There was 1 large settee which was great but would be ok if there were 2 adults and 2 children, but we were 4 adults!! Your comfort is important at night. 2. Just felt like the windows could do with a bit of a clean and the hob in kitchen as well. 3. There were no scissors in cottage either but we managed, not the end of the world. 4. Felt this was really important,it was a shame the grass was not cut it was quite long. We appreciate it maybe due to weather but we had really good weather while we were there and we didn't feel like walking onto grass as it was very long, even for our doggy!! Didnt quite look the same as on web pictures. 5. Last but not least the drain outside kitchen kept overflowing so there was waste water on most of patio which was not nice when you were sitting outside. We think it maybe due to the down pipe. Saying this we would come again if these few improvements were made it would be icing on the cake as it was in a beautiful location and the beds were really comfy. Just 1 more thought for the owner a hot tub would be great also like the other cottages have maybe.

The cottage has been decorated to a very high standard using the limited space to the maximum however we found the lack of a proper bed to be a major disadvantage as it limited the available space by not having a dedicated bedroom and meant having to pull the bed down every evening and up again in the morning. The mattress was also incredibly hard which we found very uncomfortable. Ideally it should be described as a studio property to make this clear to prospective guests. The patio/hot tub is also not very private being overlooked by the drive to neighbouring properties so we didnt use this key feature. Whilst not the fault of the property there is very little else in the village with just a corner shop open everyday. The local pub dosnt open until Wednesday and doesnt serve food. There is another ex pub which does serve as a take away but isnt currently open as a pub. We decided to cut our losses and move to another village after 2 days.

The cottage itself was lovely. Good location, hot tub and little outside space was really nice and well maintained. Decent sized kitchen, enough storage space throughout to be able to unpack properly and my partner really enjoyed the commissioned maps as decor. The only downside was the bed. It was a pull down/out 'Murphy-style', turned the sofa into a king size bed. Good idea in theory for the compact space, but the frame corners were very sharp (we got bruises) and the arms of the sofa didn't seem to be removable, so we had to shimmy up the bed from the bottom to get into bed comfortably. The mattress however was awful and gave us both sore backs. So hard and uncomfortable that we considered finding other accomation and after 2 nights. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider going back, if on the bed was changed.

The bed and sofa was extremely uncomfortable so much so we barely slept. The mattress is too hard. When I stripped the bed the mattress was extremely dirty and way past the sell by date. Should the mattress be of a decent nature, we could have managed by leaving that down for the week. It really spoiled it for us, as the holiday was a birthday present. We were so exhausted and in pain with our lower backs it took us all day to get going and venture out. The shower is cold and you barely get a trickle out of it. The kitchen however was lovely and well equipped. Also the way it’s worded on the advertisement we did not realise it wasn’t a separate bedroom. If we had of known we definitely would not have booked it. It was basically glorified clamping !! The location is fantastic for visiting various places.

We stayed in Beudy for 5 nights in September this year and it was one of the nicest weekends I've had in a long time, we didn't want to leave!

The cottage is situations along with a few other cottages, although its set out so you have your own private garden areas. Beudy is a beautiful cottage, all furnished with solid oak furniture and cosy feather duvets. The views from the back garden and the log burner are such lovely editions to the cottage. It has everything you need (as usually you have to come prepared with kitchen equipment!). There's plenty nearby to do, there's Rhug Estate farm shop 15mins drive away that's great for breakfast or lunch. We visited The zip safari just 20mins away near Betwsy Coed which was great fun! We hired bikes at a nearby lake and walked up Snowdon, the 'Pyg' track begins about 40mins away. Its safe to say we would love to visit again!
