"Can't fault anything about our stay, apart from some noise from a nearby property late one evening which can't be blamed on the property itself. My elderly dad found the downstairs bedroom and bathroom very pleasant and convenient, in fact that was the main reason for this booking as he couldn't manage stairs very easily, and he loved the rest of the cottage and its garden and setting. All was comfortable and very clean; the kitchen and utility room were very well equipped.Very easy to get into the lovely city of Ely from here, usually taking less than 10 minutes. The A10 for other routes was only 5 minutes away.Good Thai food from the Plough at the end of our road and a nice meal at the Anchor at the other end of the village. A local store in the village for papers and essential groceries and the local people we met were all very pleasant and helpful.Thank you to the owners and cleaning staff for their work in maintaining such a high standard."

"It Did NOT. The sight manager sent you an e mail to this effect. You did not reply. I am 83 years old and because of this you spoiled my holiday. I am not because of my age as mobile as I once was and I rely on Wi Fi and my I Pad totally. We only made the booking as Wi Fi was advertised in the amenities. You were unable to provide it and it spoiled my week. Regards Maurice TempestWardens on the campsite were very friendly and helpful.the onsite staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to all the attractions that we wanted to visit all in all a great cottageVery pretty, confortable and well equiped accomodation, large enough for a familly with 4 children. Nice location in the countryside, superb for jogging around the lake. A lot of touristic attractions in the aera. Very nice and very eficient staff"

"What a find!! Such great value for money and then to top it all off there is a spa in the main building. Sedge Lodge was lovely with everything you could need including the use of their hot tub. We were five mums who wanted a break from the kids and that is exactly what we got. We had lunch at the Anchor Inn on the way, which was delicious (we became acquainted with the resident ghost too-but that is another story). When we got to sedge lodge we were warmly greeted by Yvonne and proceeded to have the "Back to Front" treatment (back massage and facial-lush) one by one. As one went in the others settled in including being given a tour of the grounds by Lucy. What more can I say the weekend was so very relaxing and we will definitely be back for another weekend at this little gem."

"What a little gem. We loved this cottage. We had a very warm welcome from the owners. The fresh eggs were delicious. There is everything you could possibly need and more at this charming cottage. It was so cosy and felt more like a home than a holiday rental. The views from the kitchen window are amazing. Lots of different wildlife to see.The garden was delightful. Although it's not fully enclosed it felt safe for my little Chi to explore as it is so remote with no vehicles passing the cottage the whole time we were there.Tillie our little chihuahua also loved her daily walks straight from the front door. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing week.We have already booked to stay again."

"Beautiful Barn, extremely well equipped, walking distance to the Pub, food very reasonably priced. Walking distance to Witham Fen ( National Trust) worth a visit. Plenty of footpaths for flat walking. Soham three miles away over the footpaths. One coffee shop there, Asda and Co-op. Five miles by car to Stretham where there is a post office stores. So remember your milk when out, as Witham does not have any shops. But Stretham does have a good take away Fish and Chip shop. Short car ride to Cambridge and Ely, you need a car, the bus only goes once a week on a Thursday to Soham! But we thoroughly our week and would recommend Barrow Barn."
