"Julie and Nigel have created a haven of comfort in this niche on the IOW. Ultra comfortable beds and linen, big fluffy towels and top notch toiletries are matched by efficient showers, cosy sofa, and an extremely well thought out welcome hamper. Julies homemade jam is delicious as is the crusty loaf and butter. Also included are cereal, eggs, milk, tea and coffee. No need to rush to the shops for breakfast! Half a dozen bottles of wine to choose from (just replace before you leave), and a well equipped kitchen increases the sense of contentment. The wifi is good, and although we didn't use the indoor pool, others commented on how good it was. We took our two black labs with us, and to say that they were welcomed is an understatement. Julie is very experienced where dogs are concerned and their needs are also at the fore. A big bowl of fresh water, microfibre bed, toys and lovely dog treats in a tin were all provided, and the cherry on the cake was that they were allowed on the sofa for cuddles. A stairgate is provided to ensure they don't make it upstairs, and a secure gated courtyard garden offers them an escape while the humans unpack and settle in. There is a huge paddock for exercise, which alleviates the first and last walk of the day, and an orchard full of fruit that we were encouraged to help ourselves from. We definitely recommend this little haven, and would love to return."

"We went as 2 couples and on arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the accomadation. The kitchen had everything you need cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine also plenty of plates, glasses etc. However the only seating was 2 sofa beds in the living room which were very uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable but had broken legs. There were no mirrors except over the sink in the bathrooms. There was only 1 wardrobe so nowhere to hang clothes. We did have a lovely holiday and overall the bungalow did tick the boxes for our needs as one of our party is disabled but with a bit more investment in the above mentioned it would be 10/10. I think Gurnard pines is more residential than holiday but having said that we had no problems with parking or residents there."

"The caretaker and cleaners were excellent and we enjoyed our stay at No. 83.The "cottage" is very well equipped and modernised but the lack of a dining table would put us off staying in this particular unit again. Plenty of electrical outlets but no bed side light! Bring a long USB cable if you want to use a laptop while charging. Wi-Fi is excellent but the location within Gurnard Pines appeared to have no mobile phone reception so if you need a one time code for banking etc. you may have to leave the building and go a little way up the car park. Noise from a nearby air conditioner is a bit of a negative if you like to use the garden table which is in the rear courtyard."

"We booked 4 separate properties for a large family get together to celebrate an 80th birthday. Ages ranged from 2yrs to 82yrs. Properties rented ranged from 2 beds to 4 beds. All were spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything one might need. Resort staff friendly and helpful. Leisure facilities superb and allowed everyone to spend quality time together. Would recommend 100% as a wonderful place for a relaxing break whatever the weather, Yarmouth was a delightful small town only 5 minutes away. Our impression was that the west side of the island was quieter than the east. Our party also enjoyed great walking, cycling, and bird watching outings."

"Arrived at our rental to realise that it was not the property shown on the website. Very disappointing to find out we were not at the end of a row but in the middle and also to realise that it was not a holiday village but a residential area. This made finding somewhere to park very difficult throughout our stay at the property. Tbere was very little outside area for the children to play and our outside seating area was a metre from the busy road. Fortunately the inside of the house was as advertised so we made do by using the house as though it was a flat which wasn't what we paid for."
