What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Sanford - Verified booking

Lovely property, very quiet location perfect to relax. The hot tub was ready for our arrival which was great. Couldn't find the hairdryer but a quick text to the owner and they sorted one of theirs for me to borrow as the previous people had pinched the original one! Lovely welcome pack of cakes and Welsh cakes and a little bottle of milk. The bed was comfy and there are plenty of blankets as it does get chilly at night. It does get super warm when the sun is out but there are plenty of fans and once you open the doors and windows it soon cools down. Was great to have an oven and microwave and a big fridge freezer so we could have meals in rather then eat out all the time. The nearest big supermarket is morrisons which is 30 mins away by car in Aberystwyth however there is a nisa just a 5 minute walk across the horse field which had a really good selection of stuff. Abaeraron is a 2 mile walk, it's a nice walk, you can't really walk down the main a437 as there's no path however if you follow the path as far as you can then take a right through the houses there's a path all the way into town, it's not for the faint hearted lol it is a very steep slope for around half a mile. New quay is a 10 minute drive away, it's very small but very pretty. The owners are very welcoming and the views from the silo balcony are beautiful with just the horses as neighbours. Considering its on a working livery farm the noise of tractors didn't bother us at all and it wasn't all day every day either.

Homely cottage in a great spot overlooking the harbour with a view of the sea. Great location for walks with a coastal path to New Quay and a river walk to Llanerchaeron both lovely. All equipment available with a lovely Rayburn in the kitchen for cooking / heating. Beds comfortable and clean as were towels. The cleaning needs to be improved but this is easily fixed and this didn’t spoil our holiday. Great eateries and choice. Places we visited were dog friendly which was a bonus. The coastal defence works are currently on going in the harbour; not sure how long for. Again, didn’t spoil our holiday but we didn’t see a beach.

    • Miss Rebecca Sudell - Verified booking

Lovely finishing touches such as the wine and cakes. We felt very welcomed and very relaxed. When we got to the farm we had a bit of trouble locating the silo, we went down a track to the left which led nowhere and I ended up getting out of the car and wandering about to find it. Generally very clean but the sofa cushions had not been vacuumed inbetween. There were nuts and fluff down there. Kitchen well equipped. There is also a cable or something running down the outside of the silo that bangs against it in the night and did wake us. You can tell it’s a labour of love and we fell in love with it too. I was sad to leave

Unique and comfortable place to stay. The location is excellent with the local supermarket only 5 mins walk away. The Red Lion pub is also very closeby and provides good food and drink. The property provides a wonderful hot tub plus BBQ facilities. The owners are nice and friendly and offered advice on local walks. The accommodation provides excellent self catering facilities, hot shower, free WIFI and smart TV. The stairs to bedroom are a little steep but that's part of the unique design. There is adequate heating should the weather not be so good and fans in case of a hot spell. Very enjoyable stay would recommend.

Beautiful property, situated in a lovely countryside location. The property itself was immaculate, inside and out. All amenities available and the property owners encourage you to ask for anything if needed. From brief conversations, they seem very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable and modern interior, felt like home from the moment we walked through the door. We took full advantage of the amazing hot tub and indulged in some of the local nicey's left in a hamper for us. We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking!
