Croft Y Beudy is a well-received cottage offering tranquility and picturesque views. Guests praise its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and welcoming hosts. Its proximity to Aberaeron, beaches, and walks, alongside modern amenities, makes it a desirable retreat. Some guests suggest minor improvements, but the overall sentiment is highly positive.
Guests consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean'. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences reported.
The location is frequently highlighted for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to towns and beaches. The secluded setting offers peace and quiet, although sea views are limited from the cottage itself.
Comfort is a strong point, with multiple reviews noting the comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere. The wood-burning stove and modern bathrooms add to the comfort level, although some guests found the mattresses too soft.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and utility room. However, some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen utensils and issues with shower temperature, suggesting room for improvement in this category.
Several guests appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as welcome chocolates and essential items like milk and tea. While these gestures are warmly received, it's important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Croft Y Beudy and overall found the cottage to be a lovely place to stay. The log burner and Rayburn were real highlights and made the space feel warm and cosy, especially on colder days. The cottage was very clean on arrival, with plenty of towels provided, good-quality linen, and thoughtful welcome touches including a pint of milk, some goodies to get us started, and logs and kindling ready for the fire. The equipment provided overall was good, and the sofas were comfortable and clearly good quality. There were a few small downsides. The mattresses are incredibly soft: which I’m sure some people would love, but they weren’t ideal for us. We also found the kitchen utensils a bit limited. As the weather wasn’t great, we stayed in and cooked all week, and things like tongs, serving spoons, and sharper knives would have made a big difference. These are small issues and easily rectified. We also randomly found some pink confetti in the main bedroom, which was a little odd. Additionally, the windows are original and quite draughty, particularly in the living room, which is worth bearing in mind in cooler weather.Overall, despite these minor points, it’s a good cottage in a lovely location and we would happily stay again, especially with a few small improvements.
