Squirrel's Drey very was clean and well-appointed It is situated in a very quiet country location and yet is relatively close to a major road with access to Swaffham and Dereham, which have sufficient amenities to pfovide for most needs.
The nearby villages are picturesque and there is easy access to a common where fallow and ponies roam free. The property itself is very convenient and comfortable. The kitchen in particular is of a very high standard and all utensils are of high quality. The lounge adjoins the kitchen and has a comfortable sofa and a charming wood-burning stove. It is noteworthy that the furniture throughout the property matches - a nice touch. The bed is very comfortable and a vibro-massage chair in the bedroom adds a feeling of luxury. There is a distinct 'vibe' about the place that is restful and relaxing. The small private garden is a little sun trap. A small oak woodland on the premises provides a place to walk and to sit. The hosts live in an adjacent property and are very helpful and welcoming. without being intrusive. My wife and myself needed a quiet, secluded place in the country for a break and that is exactly what Squirrel's Drey provides. We originally booked a week, but liked it so much we added and extra week.

The flat is exactly as described, well equipped, comfortable and perfect for two.
Lovely location within an easy drive of the whole north west coast. You can even see the sea to the west from the driveway. It doesn't have direct access to a garden but the orchard is a nice place to sit as well as having an area to hang washing but bring your own pegs. The only downside is that you need a car to get anywhere, there are no walks from the door. There was also an extremely yappy dog next door which drove us mad at the weekend, thankfully it appeared to be owned by a partner who didn't appear to live there all the time so peace and quiet resumed during the week. The only other very small issue was a towel rail that needs repairs and a bulb that sometimes flickered in the kitchen.

We found it clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and warm (October). The kitchen was well-equipped. The shower was a walk-in cabinet and reliable. The wi-fi was adequate and did not cut-out. The bed was comfortable, with the linen clean and wholesome. There was ample, safe parking. The comment in the text regarding the stairs outside, and various steps within, the apartment, was accurate. Some persons could find them restricting. The location is quite convenient for the North Norfolk Coast. Docking, 2km away, has a Spar shop for essentials, and a good chip-shop operating on some evenings.

“Lovely welcome basket. Great location with a view of the sea (a monocular and binoculars were provided). Beautifully furnished and the kitchen was well equipped too. The walk in shower was bonus as was the small walled garden, with seating to the front. The bedrooms were a good size and had plenty of storage. Loved the quirky oil lamp style bedside lights. The single bed was not as comfortable as we'd have liked but is probably fine for children to sleep on. The apartment is a five minute walk from the town and beach. Staff at Keys were very friendly with good communication throughout.”

Warm, comfortable!
The flat works well for a holiday. The rooms are of ample size. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean, including the kitchen. Here the facilities are quite adequate for holiday cooking. The wifi was adequate, dropping out once, from memory. The car park is safe, plenty of space. The shower room and shower are excellent, the small space heater a bonus. Weâve been twice now, and found the accommodation perfectly adequate. A minor comment, thereâs no two pin socket for electric toothbrush, bring your own 3 to 2 pin plug converter.
