Such a lovely apartment, with excellent views and a brilliant position, very close to buses, trains and shops.
Only one very small negative, which I was surprised about. The info stated that 'towels and bedding are supplied' and I've never stayed anywhere which said that but didn't include the kitchen items!! Therefore I did not take a kitchen towel, a dishcloth or a teatowel, and none of that was provided, which was extremely awkward. It surprised me even more because it seemed everything else had been thought of - they are provided milk, biscuits, condiments, teabags, sugar, washing-up liquid etc - all extremely welcome. The apartment was an absolute pleasure to be in, and a small food store and various pasty shops, etc were within a few metres from the apartment. There were even plenty of coathangers, a coat rack, a torch (should there be a power cut), books, dvds, ...... Would I stay there again? Absolutely! Beautiful apartment! Thank you.

The apartment as usual was really good clean tidy and everything we needed for a wonderful holiday .
Which we enjoyed very much The only downside was the very scruffy and dirty downstairs hall , it was full of rubble rubbish and dirt that we had to walk by ever time entering and leaving the building.near the front door ,it looked like a new entrance was being made and sawdust and litter was left to stride over.,This was being walked up the stairs but someone had tried to clean it up without moving the mess. We were there 10 days and we saw no workers working on what looked like a renovation of this ground floor flat, this mess and rubble should have been contained inside the flat keeping the hall clean and tidy for all other occupants using the building.i think this situation should be complained about by the flat owners not a good look when entering this doorways. Upon entering, an absolutely superb surprise greeted us, it was Christmas 2024 and we were amazed to see Xmas decorations, a wonderful fully-laid 4 person Christmas table and many very generous guest Christmas presents around the apartment including sparkling wine, delicious chocolates, homemade Chrismas crackers, a fantastic fun soft door stop (in the form of a Christmas Robin) and even, Gin & Tonic! We really do not think the owners could have done any more to make us feel so welcome and outright Christmasy! Patently, an awful lot of time an effort went into all of this and it was very much appreciated by us. An absolute 100% recommendation to anybody. We have been many times before to this fabulous West Looe apartment and will undoubtedly return in the future. Thank you.

Lovely penthouse in great location, we prefer west looe as its a bit quieter but still within easy reach of east looe. Kitchen is well equipped and having the table laid out for our arrival was a nice touch. Bedrooms are a good size with sufficient storage for us. Only down side for us was the bath water was lukewarm and shower didnt work on our arrival. The helpline did arrange for a plumber who came within a couple of hours and although they got the shower to work they couldn't fix the hot water for the bath as parts were required. This meant we couldn't use the bath at all during our stay and the shower was only just warm enough with fairly low pressure which was really disappointing for us.

The location of the property is excellent, just a 20-30 minute walk into the main town of Looe. Access to the property is steep, however we expected this, an access statement is provided for this property on the Cornish Horizon's website The main living area of the apartment has plenty of natural light. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. The bedrooms are a reasonable size and have sufficient storage areas for clothing. All rooms were clean and well presented. My family and myself had an enjoyable stay at this property.
