We have been visiting the Gower for nearly 30 years now so we must have passed this quaint cottage hundreds of times without being aware of its existence as it is hidden behind a tall hedge, close to the main road. So you get a fair bit of noise from the traffic but we didn't notice it too much. It's located near to our favourite beaches so we didn't have to do a lot of driving during our stay and there are 3 walkable routes down to Three Cliffs bay. There is space to park just outside the cottage. The owners live close by so are on hand in the event of any problems. Fortunately we didn't require their assistance. The cottage has a spacious main room containing the kitchen area, a dining table, a sofa and a coffee table. A steep stairway takes you up to a mezzanine bedroom with a low ceiling. Our stay was during early summer but it was quite cool outside. The property warmed up quickly after the central heating was switched on. We had just about everything we needed to cook our own meals. There are quite a few local pubs we could have visited to eat out including the Gower Inn across the road but we brought quite a bit of food with us and there were local shops to stock up. An ideal cottage for a short couple.

We arrived at the Coastal View & the first thing you see is the amazing view. The cottage was very clean, there was milk, eggs, flowers & dog treats left for us. Sarah came & greeted us & was very welcoming. There was everything you needed there, kitchen was very well equipped. The WiFi signal was better than ours at home. We had to use the car to go out as there is a very steep hill down to the pub, shop & beach as husbands breathing is not good but didn't bother us. Lovely walks for the fit & healthy. All the pubs are dog friendly as it's an ideal place for a dog holiday. We lost our dog three months ago & he would have loved it here.

It’s a very cosy property, very clean, with good facilities. The bathroom is immaculate, and the main bedroom very roomy and comfortable. I loved the balcony looking out onto the wider park area. The kitchen area is a bit compact, but it is ok for two people. All in all we had a really lovely stay here, and I’d recommend it as a good location for exploring the local area, including the coastal walks. Be aware, there is an extended uphill walk coming back to the property from the town, so you need to be relatively fit if you are planning on walking to and from the main town or accessing the beach and coastal walks.

The property at Langland gave us everything we anticipated for a wonderful week in South Wales. The views from the lounge & master bedroom were magnificent with the most gorgeous sunrise / sunsets with skies unrivalled by any Mediterranean destination. Warm & cosy rooms ,all furnishings were more than sufficient including a covered balcony with seating & table. I would highly recommend this property for a Welsh break , close to the coastal path ( steep access not for the faint hearted) that offers good clean accommodation in a safe community with parking.

Wow! What a lovely surprise. I could not recommend this property more highly. It had everything we needed and the bedroom and lounge had amazing views. The coastal walk was just minutes from the property, which was something we did every day. The beaches were great too. We had a great week and property was very good value for money. Homefromhome also made the booking, arriving and leaving a very smooth process. Five stars all round
