About this property

Stylish and within easy reach of local attractions, Cragside is an ideal family getaway to Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Enter into this lower ground floor flat and make yourself at home in the open-plan living area where a tasteful sitting area wears a backdrop of quirky paintings, and an ornamental fireplace adds a sense of history to the building. From here you will find the kitchen, amply fitted with home-from-home amenities and decorated in a contemporary grey, complementing the rest of the space and overlooking a dining table where guests can enjoy a heart-warming meal or a family games night. Two bedrooms await your relaxation, each with statement wallpaper and their own unique character, beginning with a king-size with traditional panelled walls, an ornamental fireplace and leopard print wallpaper and a bunk room, perfect for children, with wallpaper depicting plants and matching the décor throughout, and each is within reach of a fantastic bathroom. Such a stunning property needs an area to match, and Aldeburgh certainly fits this description, with a fantastic high street bustling with independent shops where you can sample local produce, a museum about local history and many eateries including cafes, pubs and fish and chip shops, making a meal out a must. The pebble beach stretches generously along the coastline, giving you a great place to walk along the shore or embark on your favourite watersports, and there is the option of scenic walks along the Haven Nature Reserve and Snape path. Further from the town you will find the historic village or Orford with its fantastic castle. Make a family holiday to remember with a stay at Cragside.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

The apartment was clean, warm and stylish. Parking was straightforward on the road outside. Aldeburgh is charming. We enjoyed local walks, seal spotting near the Martello Tower, and fish and chips from round the corner. Would completely recommend a short break here. We look forward to returning.

It was all lovely and no problems identified Thank you for decorating it for Christmas and for the bubbly on New Years Eve

It was basically a basement flat. We informed you of this on the second day of our stay. Your response was 'we are only the agents.' Not good enough!
