"Harold is very friendly and knowledgable about the area made us feel very welcome. The property is quaint in a lovely location and people are very friendly in the area. The bed was unfortunately so uncomfortable as it is so hard it must be an orthopaedic mattress it would really benefit from a luxury mattress topper that is extremely soft. Thankfully we slept on top of the duvet and used the blanket to keep us warm but lack of sleep rather spoilt the weekend. Also this property is marked as ground floor it really should say its a ground floor maisonette and that there is potentially people above. We would not have booked this property if we'd known we'd be below another property. Could do with some kitchen cloths to wipe surfaces as we only had a tired and rather dirty looking sponge. Hamper was not as well stocked as we have experienced elsewhere."

"Overall we had an excellent stay in the S16748 and hope to return there. Our hosts Paul and Julie were friendly, polite, and a great help with knowledge of the area. The cottage was extremely comfortable, quiet (only the noise of the birds most of the time), with a cosy feel to it. The enclosed garden at the rear was a great delight to our 2 Jack Russels, who treated it as their territory and we knew they were completely safe. There was also plenty of open spaces to walk the dogs near to the cottage. The welcome pack was gratefully received and a lovely gesture. We would recommend this to any person who wanted a peaceful pace to chill out and relax in, especially if they owned a dog or two!!We hope Julie and Paul are there for many years and wish them well,Aly and Steve"

"Had a wonderful Easter break, the cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable relaxing break. The owners were lovely and had left a welcome pack which included an Easter egg (a nice touch) of milk freshly laid eggs, bacon and a bottle of wine, it was such a nice surprise . When we told the owners that the toaster did not work they were round straight away with a replacement one. The garden was nicely enclosed for our dog and she loved the cottage too and the treats left by the owners !It is a really nice location and our favourite place nearby was Bridgnorth with a good fish n chip chop and nice pubs in the High town and Low town. I would definitely recommend this cottage and would not hesitate to visit again."

"Great little place to stay for a short break. Extremely clean, and little extras wine, eggs, bacon and dog treats were a lovely surprise. Owner very helpful in explaining local walks. The dining room at the back overlooking the garden is really nice for enjoying a cooked breakfast. The lounge is very small, and just a suggestion perhaps a small rug on the floor would make it a little more homely in the evening and a couple of low lit lamps rather than the one which is very bright. That's just a personal preference. Local pub which is community owned is superb. It's a short walk away, the food is great, and their Sunday lunch a must. Very friendly staff and dogs are made very welcome."

"Such a fabulous spot with lots of lovely walks for all of us. The owners were lovely, there when I needed them ( to give me all the information on the walks and how everything worked) but left me alone to have a lovely time. The welcome pack was a real bonus, not expected, and their own eggs were the best I have ever tasted. The dogs weren't left out either with a dish of biscuits and chew bones - all their favourite things, in fact they are pretty fond of anything edible. The annex itself is lovely, cosy & spotlessly clean - so nice to settle down on cold winter evenings in front of the wood burner in the middle of winter to read, watch TV or just to snooze! We had a great time."
