"Just returned from S43741. Fantastic time away with the family. Barn has plenty to do on site, lots of Garden games and a play area for the kids (2 & 4) they loved the sand pit. The scandanavian wood fired hot tub was fantastic for the adults to relax in after busy days, and great for the kids to cool down after being out. This was their favourite part of the barn! David the owner was on hand for any questions we had, and was very helpful. Phone signal is poor at the cottage, however with a good wifi connection you can still make calls and keep in contact with the outside world! In a small village, with a local pub 100yds away, visited for lunch and sat in the garden had a lovely afternoon. Locals were all friendly. We fitted in lots whilst we were away as the location meant we were within an hour of lots of attractions. Twycross zoo was fab and on a sunny day the water park kept the kids entertained and cool for a while. We visited Alton towers and CBeebies land which was great, again lovely weather and just outside of school holidays so queue times not too baD. Fab holiday lovely cottage and lots to do in the area."

"S43741 is an absolute gem of a place. There really is so much for the kids to do (No matter how big or small) you won't see them for hours! And extremely well equipped for any occasion. David the owner is a kind and thoughtful gent, and will supply anything you need for your stay- including fresh eggs from the chickens next door! We had such a fantastic holiday, and have no doubt whatsoever that we will be back! We had our wedding during our stay, and the barn was perfect for all the ladies to get ready while the kids were enjoying the garden. The day after we had a birthday bbq and there was plenty of space to accommodate all our family and friends. (There are even spare camp beds and blow up mattresses if extra sleeping space is needed for such occasions). Would highly recommend eating in the green man pub next door too...the people are extremely welcoming and the food is superb!! 10/10 all round from all of us..we didn't want to leave!! THANKYOU"

"This is the perfect holiday cottage for having a party (though I think all the toys would also make it good for kids too). The hot tub is utterly divine: we lounged in that tub, supping fizzy beverages, laughing, and listening to 80s music until unholy hours on both nights. The gate into S43741 is fairy-tale esc: it's vast, wooden and has a great big handle like you're entering a castle. Then there's loads of parking; every kitchen utensil you could need; loads of fridge space; clean and well-designed rooms; and let's not forget an awesome fire in the middle of the garden that was actually lit for us on arrival so we could huddle round that and feel like excitable kids at bonfire night! Overall I couldn't recommend this place enough: thank you David the owner for providing a cracking stay! (plus, the pub down the road serves delish food and is perfect after a chilly afternoon walk in the countryside)"

"S43741 is a fantastic beautiful holiday cottage. Ideal for families, parties, children and pets. The facilities are beyond imagination. The garden is full of child and adult games, a wood fired hot tub, fire pit, large BBQ. Darts, basket ball, bowls, boules, badminton, swings, slide, sand pit... The kitchen is full of equipment, even a chocolate fountain, garlic press, pestle and mortar, multiple types of oven...Every bedroom has digital TV, fire stick, blue tooth speaker. Huge family TV downstairs with surround sound system. Extensive outside lights, lit patio, seating, a truly amazing atmosphere. The property manager is always available for any problem, however small, and supplies endless free range eggs from the chickens! We had a wonderful family get together. Would recommend to anyone."

"We stayed at S39310 in Cheddleton for the bank holiday weekend, it was so much more than we expected! Local pub is literally a stones throw away- friendly locals and the canal and garden in the picture that attracted us to this cottage did not disappoint! Litealy could not fault this cottage... the owners have thought of everything from shower gel to cotton buds and even a baby monitor! Everywhere was lovely and clean, more than big enough for family of 5. There is also a keysafe outside which was good for us late arrivals! We went to Alton towers which was a short drive away and a lovely cafe called the country kitchen/cafe which was on the way to alton towers, which i would definitely recommend! We would not hesitate to come back here again or recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely weekend x"
