"This was perfect for what we needed. We had 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1-6 and we stayed during Feb half term. i was a little worried that the cottage may be a little small for 6 active kids but its bigger than it looks on the pictures and the sofas are obviously new which was nice. the table may be a little bit of a squash for 8 adults but was fine for us. There was a slight issue when we arrived but this was quickly and effectively sorted out by the owners. It was nice to have the option to use facilities of the park although we ended up not using them that much. The baby pool was lovely and warm. The soft play was good for a wet morning and although we only went to the evening entertainment once, this was good and the kids were well entertained. There was heaps to to close by to the park. Fistral beach worth a visit and Watergate Bay is beautiful. There is a good little Pirate Experience in Newquay which the kids really enjoyed. We also visited the Eden Project for the first time which the kids loved...make sure you get a slot in the Forest School, this was great. We went to the Maritime Museum. Every school holiday on a Thursday they do Thorsday where they have Viking Events. They got the kids involved which was great. You can come and go as you please once you have a ticket so we nipped out for take out Rick Stien fish and chips which was just outside. Yummy! Your ticket for this and the Eden Project entitles you for free entry for a year. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. It was great for us but I can imagine it would get very busy in the summer."

"We stayed in a Garden Terrace number 58 which was basic but ok for our needs. However the double bed mattress was completely worn out. There was no support in it and so many dips and uneven springs. After the first night both myself and my partner had bad backs. We asked reception for a mattress topper but they only had a duvet which was very thin and did nothing to make it more comfortable. After night 2 we again asked reception first thing in the morning if something could be done about the mattress. We were told they would contact maintenance. By 5pm still nothing, so my partner went to reception again and once again was told that maintenance would be contacted. Anyway no one came or sorted it all week. We ended up purchasing a mattress topper which made it slightly more bearable. Apart from this issue, we enjoyed the resort and facilities. Some areas are a little worn and tired, but overall we had a good time. Food in the Manor bar was very good with pleasant staff. Would we return? Yes, but only if it was a decent mattress on the bed. Over a week after returning, both of our backs are still playing up. A good holiday spoiled by a lousy worn out mattress."

"A well appointed, clean and comfortable property. There were 4 adults and two teenagers plus 2 dogs and we were delighted with the whole experience. Being a winter stay we needed the heating on and there was a fairly major problem when we arrived.as the boiler kept cutting out. However a quick call to the owner soon sorted this and we were up and running within 24 hours. Great service!! The location is very close to a number of beaches, which in the winter is great for dog walking. In the summer they must be great for children as they are very sandy and safe. The Eden Project is very close which was great as we did have a few days of poor weather. The only downside is that there is only one toilet. Sometimes this proved to be a little inconvenient. Parking on the driveway is very tight but there is plenty of on road parking so no real issues. Highly recommend this as we think the value for money is great. The other bonus is that it is near to St Austell which has all the shopping facilities within 10 minutes."

"We had a wonderful stay, lodges/houses need a real update. Our bedding was clean but didn't smell fresh, like it had been in the cupboard for a long time, and was very old fashioned as was the lodge. Also, no black out curtains in the bedrooms but we're down stairs in the conservatory. With 3 children I know where I would have preferred them to be! Hot water was fairly hit and miss. The pub on site was fabulous and the food was delicious. We enjoyed it and think it wouldn't take much to make a huge difference to this lovely site!"

"The cottage was nice and clean but the fridge door shelf was broken so we couldn't store milk upright. There were lots of spiders that should've been hovered away. The swimming pool was not free which became too expensive for us with 3 children. I also paid a pound for the locker and didn't get it back! The receptionist was very rude to another member of staff and kept us waiting most times as she was busy talking to other staff or making coffee for conferences!"
