"This cottage has huge potential to be excellent. Sadly, the initial view on entering was of full dustbins, dirty, unusable garden furniture and peeling paintwork. Inside, children's books, toys (broken and incomplete) and puzzles were untidy and cobwebby. Built in cupboards were were untidy with tat. The kitchen was good, but equipment needed a complete sort. Bedrooms and linen were fine. The cottage is in an interesting village and very close to interesting places to visit. We'd love to return....but only if the cottage is given some 'love' and care. It is listed on several sites, but appears with different soft furnishings. Wifi ( listed as a feature) was non-existent .. The (absent) owner did try to help us over the phone, but it became clear that there was no dedicated wifi for the cottage...altogether a disappointing experience."

"The house, inside and out, needs money spending on it.The Saturday we stayed there was a particularly cold day, slightly less so on the Sunday, and yet there was no central heating. We turned it on,albeit at a low setting, but we think the central heating switch at the boiler, which we did not have access to,was switched off. There was one electric radiator which we had to switch on but it was not sufficient to heat the house. We were so cold that we had to vacate the house early on the Sunday rather than stay on until the Monday.Overall, the property, and courtyard outside, required some TLC.It was not one of our best finds. We are spending a further week in Kineton at the end of November, but sadly will not be using this."

"Really great quiet location for visiting Stratford and the surrounding area. Upstairs has three nicely appointed bedrooms which seemed recently refurnished and decorated. Downstairs is a good size lounge. Sofa and soft chairs comfortable but with dog hairs present around the bottom of them. The kitchen could do with updating particularly the dishwasher as it looks very old and doesn't really leave pots clean even with new salt. Downstairs shower takes a while to warm up but otherwise the water was very hot. Very warm cottage. Large maintained garden boarding onto fields but has some hazards for pets and small children."

"Hillside had everything that you would expect from a holiday cottage and more besides. It was quaint & cosy but still managed to have lots of room. There were lots of little extras provided, such as dishwasher tablets & toilet paper, that made it even better value for money. The location was beautiful, overlooking a field of sheep. The garden was a good size and very secure for our 5 year old. It is really well placed for Stratford, Birmingham and attractions like Warwick & Kenilworth Castles. We had a lovely stay & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or return to it ourselves if we are in that area."

"S84899 is cute and quirky, but comfortable for a family of four for a short break. The steep narrow stairs may not be suitable for all. Well decorated and presented every where and the beds were really comfortable (not always the case in holiday rentals!).It is ideally positioned to explore Stratford on foot, the centre just a five minute walk away. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with leaking water when taking a shower but the owners had previously had work done to try to resolve this and were going to investigate and have further work carried out. Would definitely rent again."
