"We stayed for 4 nights, a family of 2 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs,The cottage itself was just about acceptable but the driveway was ridiculously tight. I drive around 1000 miles per week and I'd class myself as a decent driver and I struggled with it.The lighting on the drive is poor and it's no more than a cars width wide. It's certainly a fire hazard in my opinion. Due to the nature of the driveways width and lighting I happened to clip my wing mirror causing damage and as my wife was telling the owner (we weren't complaining to her) all that the owner was interested in was making sarcastic comments about us slightly damaging a fence panel.Back to the cottage, parts of it are in desperate need of renovation. An internal door handle is snapped off and my daughter sliced her hand, another thing that we let go as we were really looking forward to this break as a family. We've stayed in many cottages before and I've never written a review of them as it's not my thing, but I feel the need to warn people of this place as overall my view of it is not good at all. I happened to by chance google the "cottage" and to my surprise it came up as one of booking . coms locations, so the owners are obviously also advertising this on there as short stay accommodation to people like sub contractor workmen in the area. It's certainly not the cottage break that we were expecting. There are plenty of other decent places to stay in the area and my advice would be to avoid this place at all costs."

"Absolutely beautiful cottage, the owner is lovely & very welcoming. The cottage has everything you need & is very well equipped we even arrived to some milk, eggs, butter in the fridge & bread, teas & coffees etc to use until our shop arrived as Asda deliver direct to the cottage. There are stunning views from the lounge & bedroom windows, the cottage is very light & open & the evening sunshine through the kitchen is just lovely, it makes an ideal base to discover some of the stunning coast lines of South Wales, its less than an hours drive from lovely Tenby & Mumbles. The narrow winding lanes around the close proximity of the cottage all add to the feeling of being in Wales. Even if the weather is so bad you don't want to leave the house there are loads of books to read or games to play. My 10year old was overjoyed as there is also Wifi. I would recommend this place it's gorgeous. The Bettney's - Rotherham"

"A lovely house in a very good location. Stayed for 4 nights my husband, mum, daughter, myself and our 11 month old Cavapoo. Spacious house with great variety of cooking utensils available. We choose the house because we were all able to have ensuite facilities. Fab views across the nature reserve especially when sitting in the sun on the balcony. We would love to return with our other daughter and her family as there is plenty of space for 10 people. We took our dog crate as our dog always sleeps in it and there was ample room for it. I would suggest that they improve their house book with more info about house rules and appliance usage (although we did manage fine) and provide a new comments book as we would love to have left a message. A welcome pack was provided and was much appreciated with tea coffee biscuits Welsh cakes and shortbread"

"A lovely cottage in a great position. Superbly clean and very well equipped. Friendly owners who supplied a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Our one and only negative was the WiFi which was extremely slow and couldn't be accessed in a lot of the rooms. Maybe needs an upgrade and the hub put in a better position. Luckily we had our own mobile internet unit with us which kept our two teenage kids happy but just a bit annoying when the cottage with WiFi we paid for is not supplying internet to today's usual standard i.e. suitable for video streaming."

"the cottage was very nice and in a good location it is in need of some maintenance as some things were not in working order in particular the door form the main bedroom doesn't open and the lock on the sauna door is broken the beds are not very comfortable and the bed linen is a little tired some of the equipment is in need of replacement such as table mats the outside of the cottage would be improved by being cleaned especially the cobwebs on the windows similar comments had been written in the visitor book by previous families"
