Very well presented, equipped and comfortable property, with ample parking accessed from a small lane which leads to the rear of this and of nearby properties. Everywhere spotlessly clean with good quality facilities and plenty of room to spread out. There was a lovely welcome tray with delicious goodies for both humans and doggies, cleaning products in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. The fresh flowers in the living room were also much appreciated. Last, but not least, the view overlooking Swansea Bay and location are wonderful - we enjoyed the flat walks to pubs, cafes and restaurants, not to mention woodland and castle walks right on the doorstep. There is a very busy road at the front of the property but the view and efficient double glazing which minimises any noise more than compensates! We will definitely be returning for a 3rd visit to St.Jude's next year.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage, probably one of the vest we've ever stayed in. We really enjoyed our week here. The upstairs sitting room would be a real bonus for a family of four if children wanted their own space. We enjoyed sitting up there on a rainy morning playing a few games, the natural light is very good for reading too. Just check the size of your vehicle against the size of their garage. Extra parking is limited and our vehicle was too big. We did manage though. If you know the Mumbles you will know the road outside is very busy, however the cottage is in a good location for walking into the village for the many lovely shops and restaurants of Mumbles.

Large and comfortable property with perfect bay view. The large property is well equipped and clean. The bay is just on the other side of Mumbles road, so the view from the living room and the larger bed room is perfect. Different to a property we had before the windows have double glazing, which blocks out road noise if required. But the position in the beginning of the village will be quieter anyway. Also it's close to Joe's Ice Cream, which is important. A big plus point is the spacious garage. Most properties in Mumbles do not have a private parking and especially during summer holidays it will be difficult and expensive to park in public areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed out time in the Mumbles. Weather was mixed but the house proved a wonderfully cosy place to stay. Plenty of places to eat and drink. The Mermaid and Pierre Bistro were both fantastic. The Pilot Inn is a lovely place for a drink. We loved the amusement arcade on the Pier. Oakwood Theme Park and Barry Island are both worth a visit if you don't mind the drive. Rhossili Beach is beautiful and well worth a trip. Many thanks for the flowers and treats, those chocolate brownies were probably the nicest chocolate brownies we have ever tasted! Hope to come again soon.

My son and I enjoyed our stay very much, as all was as was promised, more really, as a lovely welcome tea, coffee and biscuits tray greeted us and was just what we needed on arriving.
It was ideally placed for us to do all our planned trips. The Mumbles, Monkey Sanctuary, The National Gardens, Waterfalls all enjoyed with the picnic we took when we went. One day we went via Carmarthen (shops and late lunch) and on down to the coast to take an evening trip on Pembrokeshire Boats to see Puffins, Shearwaters, Razorbills and Guillemots. These 1000s of birds are a must for anyone staying there in May, June or July before birds finish rearing young and fly away. A holiday home I would recommend to anyone as the views are beautiful every time you leave the house.
