"We could not fault this lovely cottage or Fran, the kind and friendly owner who greeted us with delicious home made bara brith and a cup of tea! Never had such a warm welcome. There was a supply of tea coffee sugar and milk and all the cleaning materials under the sink. As a family of mum, dad daughter and granddaughter all 3 generations enjoyed the location and accommodation and will definitely be back. This is a great place to rest and use as a traveling base to explore the delights of the area. The house is cosy, clean and very comfortable, and the owner lives nearby if needed, but remained unobtrusive, however she had a lot of useful information on the area if needed. There is no intrusive noise from the pub, plenty of lovely walks and beautiful scenery to wake up to. A real home from home and we cannot recommend it highly enough...11 out of 10!!"

"Chalet was very clean, comfortable and warm. Could maybe do with an updated flat screen telly . All other equipment provided was excellent. Location was beautifully kept and lovely and peaceful in the park itself. My partner myself and our two little dogs totally enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous Nant y Glyn road countryside walk which is literally on the doorstep and takes you for miles through rural wales. We also enjoyed hiking up the Great Orm . We loved the fact that most places were very dog friendly even including a realy nice pub that allows you to have a proper meal indoors with your pooches, although we also enjoyed our fish and chips on the sea front as well. One evening we visited the very local cinema. Highly recommend to anyone wanting, a quiet escape with the bonus of a choice of activities and all amenities within walking distance."

"One of the best bookings of our life, with two excellent sleeping rooms, and bath- and shower- resources. A complete and very easy kitchen, and a simple and clever arrangement for the meals and for the rests.A very good location giving opportunity to go to Anglesey ans the south of the Porthmadog peninsula, or to join Chester and the beginning of the english main towns. An excellent A55 double tracks quasi motorway in easy reach.I would not forget the kindness ans the hospitality of our hostess, living in the vicinity and always devoted to help and to give advises.Would you transmit our gratitude to her...The parking has never been a problem, despite the proximity of a very busy (but never noisy) pub, and the needs to park for customers. "very warm welcome from Fran. Perfect location for all the family. Close to Conwy, Anglesey and Llandudno. We enjoyed so many days out the even my 7 year old loved it. Can't wait to book next year. The cottage was cosy and a stone throw from the Fairy Glen pub and long walks into the mountain. Breathing views of from there of Anglesey and puffin island. 3 gorgeous castles very close by (Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Conwy) and of course Mount Snowdon. The highlight was 1 finding the Druid stones and watching the sunset over Anglesey from there. 2 New Borough beach. Easily the most stunning beach. The cottage was well equipped with even an iron. I would take DVDs and books as there's no internet. We took a couple of box sets to watch."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Y Bedol Bach. The cottage is clean, comfortable and adequately equipped. The owner, Fran, lives a couple of doors away and was very welcoming -with a plateful of delicious bara brith. It is ideally situated for exploring the North Wales coast and Snowdonia. We did not find the lack of a dedicated parking place, noted by one reviewer, a particular problem - the road is not exceptionally busy and we were always able to park close to the cottage. The neighbourhood is peaceful; the pub next door was never noisy during the evening and we found it a bonus to be able to pop next door for a couple of pints and a meal without having to drive. All in all, a great holiday and, yes, we would come back."
