"My partner and I had never holidayed together in Pembrokeshire and were struggling to find anything that caught our eye. Eventually, we stumbled across Bramble Cottage in CastleMorris and what a find it was. After a long but picturesque journey down to Pembrokeshire from Rutland, as soon as we opened the door, we immediately felt at home within a modern-furnished yet traditional cottage. We were fortunate enough to be the first guests to stay in Bramble Cottage and owners, Roger and Bella, had clearly invested a lot of time, thought and love in to preparing their holiday cottage for guests. The downstairs provided a stunning, modern bathroom and a spacious kitchen which was fully equipped with all you would need to self-cater. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms- one double and one twin- which is perfect for a family. Our 2 year old son actually slept in one of the single beds and he's never slept better. The living room is actually situated on the top floor and this is for a reason: it provided great views over the farmland towards the coast. There is also a really conveniently placed toilet on the top floor so you don't have to make early morning stumbles to the main toilet downstairs. A word on the owners: you could not wish to meet more warm and hospitable owners than Roger and Bella. They invited us in for a drink just after we had arrived and even provided additional toys for our son to keep him entertained. In regards to the local area, the castles at Pembroke and Manorbier are a must as well as historic St. Davids. Our favourite scenic places were Solva and Porthgain. The Shed at Portgain provided the most delicious fish and chips you will ever taste- and I've tasted a fair few across the UK. This beautiful cottage provides the perfect base to explore stunning Pembrokeshire. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 4 nights. We can't wait to return in the near future."

" It was an ideal place for a family holiday - lovely beaches within easy reach. It was a nice surprise to receive a welcome pack, with all the essentials, butter, milk, tea, eggs and a loaf. The property was well laid out and spacious, especially the kitchen. There were a few niggles; leaky tap, windows dirty, woodburner a bit smokey and no seal on the bottom of the shower screen. Also the long track to the house could do with some attention - care is required with an ordinary car. I must say that these were minor issues and did not in any way spoil our family holiday. It was a lovely area in which to stay and the property was ideal for our needs. "

" It is on a working sheep farm so there is some noise from the flock and it is worth noting that the garden(s) are not enclosed so dogs have to be very well behaved or on a lead. All in all a nice peaceful location and within reach of a number of beautiful beaches and towns. "

"Just like to say the welcoming pack was second to none both of them where very welcoming and helpful and the views was outstanding would recommend very highly see you soon thanks bothThe area was a bit too remote for my liking very narrow lanes to drive along to get anywhere. The cottage was very nice and well maintained."

"The house itself was really comfortable and homely, only thing I would have wanted would have been a tumble dryer not the dishwasher. We had a great time visiting all the dogfriendly attractions in and around the area. Will definately be going back"
