"After many years of booking several cottages a year there are only a few places that I would go back to. Sycamores is one I would most certainly go back to. I’ve also recommended it to others. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house and garden are a great size. Plenty of room. We were 7 adults, 5 young kids and 2 babies and there was plenty of room, plus some spare. So many bedrooms and bathrooms that we never had a problem. The double lounge also helped separate the adults from the kids when they wanted their space. The babies have just started to walk and the house (with all the stair gates) was fine for them to roam fairly freely. The house was clean and tidy and the owners were lovely. They are next door if needed, but we didn’t feel over watched or anything. They gave a fantastic welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cake, which was really yummy. As I say, I would totally recommend this cottage and would go again."

"Lovely stay at Ty Cameron. Fishguards is beautiful little town, Ty Cameron a wonderful cottage, immaculately clean and welcoming. Amazing underfloor heating made it super cozy and hot tub was just divine. Only few things I would change would be: check in and out time- arriving after 4pm and leaving by 10am means there are nearly 2 days lobbed off the overall trip. Secondly, wifi strength was really weak and occasionally on and off throughout the trip, at times so weak that it was impossible to use. Thirdly, the cottage was pretty cold when we first arrived, and took a good day to warm through. Once it got going it was fine, but first night i was wrapped in fleece, blanket and lots of woolens to be comfortable despite turning heat up. Overall though, these were very minor challenges and it was a brilliant stay, really enjoyed beaytiful cottage and part of the country."

"Overall the cottage was great with regard to the views, position and living space. Unfortunately we had not realised how small the double bedroom and bathroom are and that getting in and out of bed can be tricky because there is so little space at the sides. The bathroom is equally very small with hardly any room to manoeuvre. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that we have ever slept in and I urge the owner to replace the mattress as a matter of urgency. It was extremely lumpy with a dip in the middle. The kitchen and hob had been refitted and were of high quality but the oven was old, in need of a good clean and did not reflect the standard of the other kitchen appliances. I was also disappointed by the very small fridge and freezer. Not very practical especially if you have planned to self cater. We did not receive a welcome pack due to the owner being away."

"What an amazing experience we had !. We were a group of 15 including infants and child's. Kids really enjoyed the stay due to the open space and large back yard lawn. The house was really kept clean and spotless. Everything we needed was there for us. Even the landlady had provided some egg's from own farm, what else can we expect :)Nothing to complain really, only except maybe the living room needs a little bit upgrade as it feel a bit dull in comparing to other rooms/facilities of the house. Thought it is is still in very high standard I would say.Our sincere gratitude to the landlords and her daughter-in-law for their welcoming smile and support during our stay.We are already missing the place and hope to come back sometime soon."

"We all loved the house which was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We all felt that there should be a cover over the waste disposal. I washed some mushrooms and lost all of them when they slid into the waste disposal! We also had a problem with the lock on the door and think that there should be a notice advising customers to unlock the door by turning the key to the right and not the left. This connects the dead lock and when we closed the door we were locked inside with no means of getting out. The owner dealt with this swiftly but a warning would be advisable.I would definitely recommend this property."
