Set in the stunning countryside of the beautiful Dyfi Valley, this charming and romantic, detached holiday cottage boasts a wealth of oak beams and delightful character. Once the old blacksmith’s and restored to a very high standard, it is ideally located to explore Snowdonia’s many attractions. Nearby, Bwlch y Groes – the highest pass in Wales – leads to the spectacular lakes at Bala and Vyrnwy (rspb reserve). Dolgellau and Machynlleth are 10 miles, Aberdovey and Barmouth 20 miles. Supermarket deliveries are available to the property. Fishing within a mile. Shops 3 miles, restaurants and pubs 2 miles.

The electric meter for car charging will instead track the electricity used, which will then be charged to the guest via an app.

A lovely cottage could not have wished for better or more.The only down side for us was the rain so couldn't enjoy the garden.The Owners are very nice, Came to say Hello and to make sure all was okon the day we arrived, which was very kind

If you are looking for an escape from urban life, this is the place for you. A beautiful cottage that stands alone, by the edge of a lane, surrounded by the stunning Welsh mountains, which can be viewed out of every window. Your only neighbours are the sheep! The cottage is spacious yet cosy and comes equipped with everything you need and is immaculately clean. The owners gave us a warm welcome and a hamper of treats.There is a wrap around garden with areas of sun and shade with the mountains (and sheep) for your views. The local village is a short drive and has a pub and fabulous coffee shop. You do need a car and to be prepared to drive a bit, often on narrow and winding roads to visit places but the views are so stunning it's worth it. It really was the perfect getaway.

High standard cottage for couples in a quiet but very nice valley. Beautiful walks in the area. Owners are very welcoming and nearby if needed. We loved it!
