Plas Gwynfryn has been lovingly renovated to successfully combine its many period features with contemporary living and has retained a wealth of original Edwardian features, such as oak floors, extensive wood panelling, an impressive staircase, stone framed windows and many period furnishings.

The grounds are great, access to the village pub & shop is easy as is the stunning Welsh countryside and seaside. The kitchen and some of the bathroom facilities could be upgraded with larger fridges and new cooker. That said it didn't detract from the great time we had. We hired a chef for 1 night - Cegan Dylan Williams who was fabulous.

It was close to the village itself but very quiet. The house was very well equipped, clean and the decor whilst dated was in keeping with the property. The only problem as far as our family was concerned were the beds. The four men in the family are all over six feet so the framed beds were too short and hence uncomfortable for us. The well maintained external areas were ideal for the kids for playing games and exploring. Over all a very enjoyable stay well managed by Caroline.

It is well fitted out exactly as the web site describes. The grounds are well maintained with three large lawns giving plenty of space for games or relaxing. The views from the house are spectacular and the excellent Victoria pub is a short walk away. I would recommend this house to anyone requiring accommodation for a large family or group.
