Endeavour is a beautifully restored detached farmhouse located at Woodhouse Farm, just steps away from the estate’s indoor swimming pool, games room and other shared facilities. Perfect for families or groups, each property is maintained to the highest standards, and this elegant home has retained many original charms retained, such as oak-beamed ceilings and wood or tiled floors, blending traditional style and country charm with modern luxury.

The heart of the house is a generous open-plan living and dining space, featuring deep leather sofas around a large Smart TV with Bluetooth speaker, alongside two log-burning stoves with logs provided to create a warm, inviting atmosphere all year round (logs provided). The dining area flows into a spacious kitchen, equipped with an oil-fired AGA, an electric oven, a microwave, an American-style fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and washing machine for home-from-home convenience for the ideal relaxed self-catering stay.

The house has a private sauna room found in the rear utility room, offering a tranquil space to unwind after a day exploring the Devon countryside, and also on the ground floor there is a comfortable double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, along with a separate downstairs cloakroom.

Upstairs, guests will find six additional bedrooms, each designed with comfort and practicality in mind. Every comfort has been thoughtfully considered at Endeavour Farmhouse to ensure a seamless and relaxing stay. Enjoy electric heating, superfast Wi-Fi, and the inclusion of all electricity, bed linen, and towels. Families are also well catered for, with added convenience in the way of a cot and highchair available on request, and there’s even a shared outdoor playground is on site.

For convenience, a payphone is located in the foyer of the indoor swimming pool building. Outside, guests can unwind in the enclosed garden and patio, complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue for relaxed dining in the fresh country air. Private Parking is available for this property, with electric vehicle charging also available at this site. The indoor swimming pool complex is at this site, each property has scheduled private access on a rota provided by the owners prior to arrival. Our cottages are designed for comfort and practicality, with a wide range of Devon attractions right on your doorstep.

Sleeping from 6 to 28 guests, the cottages can be combined to accommodate larger groups. For an extra touch, you can even book an in-house chef to handle your catering.

Set in the heart of the rolling Devon countryside, the privately owned Ashcombe Country Estate nestles in a quiet, beautiful valley, surrounded by endless things to do and just a short drive from the sandy beaches of Dawlish and Torquay too. Enjoy peaceful walks through the estate’s hills and woodlands. Just under a mile down the lane lies the Ashcombe Shooting Ground, offering clay pigeon shooting, quad bike safaris, and archery (available at extra cost for ages 14+). Also on the estate, A Touch of the Wild runs exciting forest activity camps where children can enjoy bushcraft, campfire cooking, bug hunting, and woodland adventures, a wonderful way to spark a lifelong love of the outdoors.

Explore historic Dartmouth with its harbour, castle, galleries, and the spectacular Regatta Week and Air Show.
