Harlech Beach, under a mile from your doorstep a beautiful sandy beach that stretches along the coastline, providing a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, sunbathing, or even a refreshing dip in the sea. The views of the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia are breathtaking. Royal St. David’s Golf Club, considered one of the finest traditional links courses in the world, this golf club offers a challenging round of golf with stunning views of the castle and coastline. Llyn Peninsula, just a short drive away, this area is known for its rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and charming seaside villages. A drive around the peninsula offers spectacular coastal views.

Firstly the access is difficult down some very steep steps from the parking area so definitely not suitable for infirm, elderly or disabled. The cottage has stunning views and could be amazing but it is definitely in need of refurbishment and a deep clean.

Our stay at this beautiful cottage in Harlech was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in a peaceful location just moments from Harlech Castle, it offered wonderful views of the mountains, the golf course, and the sea. The only sounds were birdsong and the gentle thwack of golf balls in the distance, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.The cottage itself was clean, cosy, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to enjoy glorious weather throughout our stay, which meant we could enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner outside on the terrace every day.It was incredibly spacious for our family of five, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) was only a short drive away, making it an ideal base for exploring.There is something truly magical about this cottage and its setting. With its stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and timeless charm, it felt like the perfect backdrop for a romance novel.We're already longing to return later in the year to experience Bryn Hyfryd in a different season. It has captured our hearts, and we can't wait to come back.

Fabulous location and a good sized cottage with plenty of room for 10 people round the dining room table. But it really needs some tlc, bedroom door knob came off in my hand, wardrobe very rickety and full of cobwebs, mirror in twin room will not stay upright and all the sofas and armchairs in the living room worn and uncomfortable. Heaters work well but were not turned on when we arrived so it got very cold before we realised they needed to be on all the time ( no instructions about heating). We did find some house / rubbish instructions when we used the dining room but they had faded to be illegible, so we just did our best. The kitchen was well equipped with a very good large cooker. Outside seating for sunny days was great, but the steps down to the cottage from the ample parking are very steep.
