Perfectly located for year round breaks, this cosy, traditional, end terraced cottage is peacefully set just a few minutes’ walk from the town’s amenities including shops, eateries, an indoor swimming pool and the world famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog railway. The railway winds its way through the magnificent Vale of Ffestiniog to the lovely harbour town of Porthmadog.
One of the area’s most exciting visitor attractions is within walking distance: Zip World Titan, the first four-person zip wire in Europe! You can also "Bounce Below" on trampolines in the slate caverns. The mountain bike trails of Antur Stiniog are based at nearby Llechwedd. There are many fabulous walks in the area and Min Y Coed is an ideal location from which to explore the surrounding Snowdonia National Park. Within easy reach are wonderful sandy beaches, historic castles and the renowned Italianate village of Portmeirion. Shops, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We had a lovely stay at Min Y Coed. The area was very near to all of the great attractions in Snowdonia National Park. The cottage was very well equipped and our host was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back again.

wonderful location, so clean and tidy. wonderful owner who met us. When i rang 3 days before our let i mentioned as long as i got ice for my drink i would be happy the owner got me a bag full and put it in the freezer. Was easy to get anywhere and close to everythingWould highly recommend

We were given a really warm welcome to the cottage. The fresh milk, bread and Welsh cakes were much appreciated. The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable. A real home from home and extremely well equipped. We had our young black Lab Arnie with us and he was made very welcome. We did have some good weather so we’re able to explore the beaches and coastline which is beautiful. There is so much more to see so we may return.
