Guests can enjoy beautiful hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Trawsfynydd Lake only one mile away, the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth or touring all the wonderful sights of the surrounding National Park. The traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is renowned for its fishing, is only a short walk away and the village itself boasts a small variety of shops. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.
