Step out to the rear garden, where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst planning where to visit that day. Venture upstairs and discover the bedrooms, housing a double and single, each neutrally presented and housing plenty of storage space. This base provides the perfect space for exploring the rugged and wild landscapes of North Wales; take off into Snowdonia and explore a great range of walks, box off adrenaline-fuelled activities at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Zip World Titan (the largest zip zone in Europe), Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (deep mine zip wires and the largest underground system of trampolines in the world!). A great array of mountain bike tracks and trails are peppered across the landscape, or if you’re seeking something a little less energetic, the well-known Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway is guaranteed to be loved by all. Take a trip to Betws-y-Coed with some great walks to enjoy and some lovely restaurants and gifts shops to frequent. For a good day out take a trip to Harlech or Portmadog with some great beaches to enjoy as well the sand dunes and the castle. Also enjoy a visit to Black Rock Sands and Borthy Gest with plenty of things to see and do.

Head to Llanberis and discover the attractions of Ceunant Mawr Waterfall, the National Slate Museum, Dolbadarn Castle and the Word Heritage Site of Dinorwig Quarry. Expect all this and much more at 1 Llwyn Hir.

Blaenau Ffestiniog, a wonderful old slate town, is ideally positioned to explore the Snowdonia National Park. There is a wide variety of stores, bars, and restaurants. One of the primary local draws is Zip World Slate Caverns, the longest and fastest zip line in the world and a fantastic underground adventure. Since unesco designated the slate mines as a world historic site, tourists can now take fascinating subterranean tours to witness mining as it was done in the past. 13 miles of the renowned narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also pass through the Snowdonia National Park on its way to Porthmadog, a harbour town. In addition to nearby family-friendly beaches, Portmeirion village—famous for its architecture and the setting of the iconic TV show The Prisoner—is nearby.
